On March 6, 1956 Republican Eisenhower stated:

"If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power."

    https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/eisenhower-political-party-moral/

All we've seen for MONTHS now is the dedication by the Republican party to seize power. The election aftermath, the Feb 6 assault on democracy, the tens of laws in various states organized NOT to advance America, but to stop people Republicans hate from voting.

The RNC stands staunchly AGAINST helping Americans and American businesses devestated by COVID. And, for a YEAR now we've seen no Republican concern for stopping this pandemic - leading to 500,000 US deaths. We now have 20% of the world wide deaths while having less than 5% of the world population!!

And, they oppose this relief even though a majority of Republicans support it.

Now, they take selfies with a golden Trump!!

What is it that the RNC stands for - besides being a conspiracy to seize power?

Yeah, the democrats and the Republicans in congress need to reevaluate themselves and refocus their energy on helping America and The American People.

I don't agree with your misrepresentation of the election but the Republicans are full of crony capitalists. It's silly to pretend that the democrats are any different though.

    To sum it up:

Seem they only exist as the opposition party.
All other values have been discarded

What does the GOP Stand For?

    Well...

Ever since Trump took over, people like Alex Jones, QAnon, Mike Lindell, The Proud Boys, and Certifiable MORONS (Like Marjorie Taylor Greene, Etc.) have become the Face of the GOP.

Very Tragic for The GOP of Reagan.

The major changes we've seen include the aid to Americans and businesses that have been devestated by the COVID pandemic, the use of executive branch powers to radically increase delivery of COVID vaccines, the defense of our capitol against the right wing assault on democracy, holding Russia to greater account, respect for Senate parliamentary rules (rather than Republicans, who simply fired the parliamentarian when they didnt like the ruling)..

Dems are working to reunite parents with children kidnapped by the Trump administration with some success.

Given that this is February and the Republican efforts to prevent an orderly transition, any complaint about how this administration is working hits me as pure sophistry.

Amen. There were Republican elected officials and policemen who took part in the assault on our Democracy on Jan 6.

Those who broke into the Capitol building with weapons and zip ties, calling for the murder of contressmen and our VP, stated they were there because Trump gave that insurrection as their marching orders.

There is NO WAY of denying RNC approval of the assault on our democracy.

They can give all the post facto lip service they want, but they ENCOURAGED the outrage and have done NOTHING to defend our form of government.

So, yes. They aren't even bothering to reset in an effort to support the fundamentals America stands for.

Nobody was praising the insurrection, and I did not watch CPAC to know it.

CPAC from the speeches I have heard has the Republicans standing for:
    • Blue Collar Workers
    • Less Taxation
    • Less Spending (They fail here repeatedly)
    • Equality over Equity
    • America First - Not Globalism
    • Anti-Establishment (both Democrat and Republican)
    • Closed Borders, but increase in Legal Immigration
    • Energy Independence and less reliance and wars in the Middle East

    That's a good start.

Nonsense. You can't defend even ONE of those as being something the RNC stands for.

    No, let's get this straight.

The insurrection of January 6 was clearly aimed at defeating democracy in America. That's what the insurrectionists stated was their goal.

Even McConnell has stated that it was a Trump operation.

NOTHING at CPAC could possibly be interpreted as opposition to that goal.

In fact, CPAC is founded on the false conspiracy theories used to incite that insurrection.

Thats bipartisan and the republicans wanted more than the 6% or so of the total budget that is going to covid vaccines.

Political grandstanding. Its an attempt to demonize the other side so that you can excuse your abuse of power including censorship, bigotry of the right, and any attempt to strip the right of their representation. Things like, pushing the idea that people vote for the right because of Russian disinformation.

Also, why is the left only concerned with Russia; what about the genocide in China and what about Iran?

Did they send the kids back or send the parents up?
    https://thefederalist.com/2020/10/2...are-human-smugglers-shut-up-about-the-border/

Or are you talking about short term separations where they cross with their parents and they are just verifying that they are their parents and not the coyote or a human trafficker, or a random person trying to get different legal treatment by having a kid with them?

Yes Biden has only just started. I am amazed at how quickly he is tearing down executive orders. He obviously isn't reviewing them and considering the consequences. He is operating on Trump is bad, everything Trump does is bad, therefore I can just get undo everything he did and that is good. Its the logic of someone with an IQ of 60.

I am not sure what you are complaining about 'orderly transition'. The Democrats did everything they could to stall the Trump Administration. They even opposed things that benefited Americans because they were afraid that any win he had would undermine their power and reduce their chances at the polls.

Its truly the "Party First" mentality that is destroying us and throwing Americans under the bus.

This is now the Trump white nationalist party. Anyone still calling themselves republican needs to own the change and stop pretending that there are any values, beliefs or guiding ideological principles other than adoration of this man and his white nationalist radical right wing agenda.

The one of these ridiculous claims that I find most outrageous is "equality".

The one single major push by the Republcian party today is AGAINST equality.

The party response to failing to appeal to citizens in the last election is to work to PREVENT people from voting!!!

The only thing THAT is consistent with is the Jan 6 Republican assault on democracy.

Republican white supremacy is absolutely dedicated AGAINST equality - even in our most foundational principles.
