Do you believe that having slow mail service now, because the Post Office was stripped of its money by Trump, and then had to keep up the pace with record mail-in voting; That having slow mail service now was worth it to have mail-in voting?
Do people actually get USPS delivered mail that isn't junk mail these days? All my bills...online. Paycheck...direct deposit. Majority of online purchases are delivered by UPS or FedEx. I haven't noticed any slow mail service.
In any case, the expansion of mail-in voting helped unseat the Trump, by far the worse president that we have ever had. So for whatever, You could say I think it was worth it. But it was not the mail-in voting that caused the problems at the Post Office. It was Republicans trying to ruin the Post Office, who caused the problems at the Post Office.
All shipping in the US was slowed to a crawl or a halt due to the freeze. But false premise aside, is it worth a little slow mail to preserve democracy? Given that hundreds of thousands of Americans have died to preserve democracy, I would hope you can live with getting your junk mail a day later.
yes, I get time sensitive legal letters that need to be stamped and signed ... I have missed a few already and had to notify people to send via FedEx or UPS ... USPS just sucks now ...
I have two problems/issues with the Post Office being slow. 1: I live in a strange area where the post office doesn't deliver mail to my home, but I have to pick it up at the post office building in my area. UPS, FedEx tend to drop packages to the post office building instead of delivering to my house proper. 2: I need my official College transcripts sent to this other College so I can get a Bachelor Degree, but it's processing slowly.
What once took 3 days can now take over 30 days for delivery. Yet another one of Dirty Donalds abysmal performances.
No, any slowness in the mail was caused by mail-in balloting, not by any picayune budgeting changes. Democrats were pushing for wide-spread mail-in balloting since 2019.
Whomever was the last President is always "the worst President in history". Carter was much worse than Trump, by far.
i, and many other seniors, depend on the mail for our bills, payments, mail drugs, etc. i do not trust computer bills or automatic payments, and will die before i do.
Right....but many millions do take advantage of online bills, etc which makes much less mail volume overall. Probably why my mother still gets her bills and pension checks on time.
IMHO,I dunno about the "by far" thing, but every president since Ford, except for Reagan, was worse than Trump.
