Moderators, please read whole thing before jumping to appease the left and CANCELING this thread because it is indeed 100% legitimate and I have proof and references below. My last thread was removed for some reason because they called it "Inflammatory" even though I had legitimate questions. I'm gonna try this again but going to keep it to the facts. If I identify as a woman, but am a biological man, and even dress like a woman, like wear my new bikini to the beach but take off the top. Am I subjected to the rules a woman is for being topless or subjected to the rules as a man being topless? This is a LEGIT question and I cannot find ONE SINGLE THING in the rules which should prevent this question from being asked. I'd also like to note, that years ago I saw some guy on a talk show that took a bet from a friend for $100,000 to get breast implants AND he gets 10K each additional year he keeps them. I noticed that in the video on youtube, his breasts are NOT censored. What did you mean? You just want to know if a trans woman can be topless at a beach that isn't normally topless, even though a cis woman presumably can't? I'd argue it's ridiculous for women, either trans or cis, to be prohibited from being topless in any situtation where a trans or cis man is allowed to be topless. Legally, it in all likelihood depends on the city and state. I am 100% sure that if a trans woman was allowed to be topless somewhere while a cis woman wasn't, there would be a lawsuit about it, though.
Maybe if you didn't start disingenuous threads on transgenders people just might start to take you seriously on this subject.
So, let me just make this simple. Lets say I identify as a woman (even though I'm a bio man) and I dress like a woman and lets assume its pretty believable. As in people wouldn't question it, they see me walking down the street and are like "oh , thats a fine looking woman) Now lets say I'm in a bikini on the beach and lots of eyes are on me and I remove my bikini top. Lets assume i have implants as well so to any outside eyes, i appear as a WOMAN. They would get equally as offended as they would by a biological woman being topless. With this being said, is it still LEGAL for me to remove my top under those circumstances. This isn't a gotcha question, its a yes or no question
You're asking a legal question, so state and city ordinances determine the answer. So, which beach are you on? Also, on the off chance that you're interested in using less offensive language, rather than saying "bio man" or the like, you can say AMAB (assigned male at birth). That's just a suggestion, though.
Wow, "bio man" is now an offensive term too? OK, i'll try to remember "assigned male at birth". also, i'm referring to a beach where topless is not allowed for ladies, you know, like 90something % of them all. so back to the question what would happen? Let me even paint the scenario. Cop approaches me and is like "Ma'am this beach doesn't prohibit topless" and i'm like "oh its ok, i was assigned male at birth" and then I even point to my bulge in case they need proof Now, does that cop just have to suck it up and apologize and walk away since technically i'm still a topless male? Very straightforward question here, what say you?
The trans folks I know generally don't consider any part of themselves to be related to their assigned birth sex, even if they haven't completed surgeries. Saying "bio man" in relation to them is effectively a denial of their gender identity. Again, local ordinances apply. Pick one of the 90somthing % and lets see what the law says. Assuming you'll continue to avoid answering that, though.... You'll likely be booted off the beach. The rules around that kind of stuff tend to be enforced based solely on appearance. Even an effeminate-looking cis man who happens to have a large chest is likely to be treated like a topless woman.
If the person looked like a woman, I agree this would probably happen but then I assume its open for a lawsuit fest as well
