The difference worth mentioning was Trump's policy of seperating children from their parents long term with little to no accountibility. I think that is a pretty important distinction.

If kids can not be DNA tested in 90 minutes without loosing contact of their parents for weeks or months...or even in perpituty; then we either have a policy problem or their was some epic level incompatance involved.

That's an armed insurrection. Though many of the insurrectionists were armed, or armed themselves at the premises with anything they could find (like fire extinguishers) being armed is not a requirement for something to be an insurrection.
