A little hyperbolic, but true. We're all capitalists.
Blah blah blah. I'll stay lost. You stay woke.

'Communism' is just populist feudalism at the end of the day. In practice, at least. They've got a long hard road ahead of them in the US though. The biggest critical step before the mob of useful idiots can seize power is disarming their intended victims. The mob isn't known for its bravery...

Marx believed that once total authoritarian collectivism was achieved, the authority (the state) would fade away all by itself and voluntary collectivist utopia would magically appear. In truth, much of what Marx wrote has pretty good merit up to that point, where it becomes total abject lunacy.

Okay, I can see you're not talking to people on the ground - as it were. Go find your nearest hive of Progressives, and ask them individually if they're happy to start living in a state of compulsory labour and total conformity - no freedom of choice, no opting out to become an 'artist', no free lunches, no living in big expensive coastal cities just 'cause, no discretionary income, etc etc. I think you can guess the answers you'll get.

When it comes to the personal responsibility and conformity demanded by collectivism, conservatives are actually much better suited.
