And the goal posts get moved. Anything to try and take credit from Trump. Never mind that any roll out starts out slow (regardless of who is in charge) and that you need to take two separate doses with a 21 day waiting period between each. (this was before J&J)

Yeah, probably a good idea that you move on. You won't accept anything positive about Trump and have no problem toeing the talking points of anyone that is against Trump. Regardless of the veracity.

Here's proof that there was a distribution plan before Biden took office. Straight from the CDC and still on their page.

Link: COVID-19-Vaccination-Program-Interim_Playbook.pdf (cdc.gov) and COVID-19 Vaccination Program Operational Guidance | CDC

And yeah, duh. Trump laid the ground work. And as per the plan things were supposed to start out slow and progress at a faster pace as time went on. Biden et al are still following the plan made back in October.

Stop trusting the media, start fact checking on your own.

You really should stop flooding the board with these complete and total non-stories that are just so picayune and petty. There are real issues that I can competely understand people wanting to bring up about this new admin. This is not one of them. Your breaking news is "new admin does not lavish praise over previous admin from the opposition party, (that incidently tried to block this admin from being certified and inaugurated)"?
Do you think Trump ever gave credit to Obama for anything? Ever?

As for Warp Speed, I think it was a good thing. It is also what any democrat would have done, because we do beleive in the power of the government in time's of catastrophe and it's abitlity to work with private industry. Funny thing is that Republicans are fawning over warp speed which goes against there ethos (free market should have solved it) especially when at the end of the day, the first company to break through was one that refused the warp speed R&D money. Beleive me if a democrat were president the repubs would have been all over that.
As to the "starting from scratch" comment it is in reference to the vaccination roll out program not warp speed. I did think it was a little throwing under the bus by Biden, and honestly I don't know how bad the program was, but the worst comment by Biden about the previous admin still shines as decency and politeness compared to the 4 years of nastiness we just endured.

This is such a non story.
The biggest bombshell in this story is the poster who strenuously objects to Psaki's hair dye colour. And that is just weird

Don't need to "lavish praise". Just acknowledge the truth. Instead of trying to spin it as all their doing and Trump was so awful that they had to start from scratch.

For 4 years (5 if you count 2015 when Trump was running for President) the Democrats have called out every supposed lie by Trump. Now you don't want lies being pointed out? They're a "non-issue"? Why am I not surprised.

Tell me, where is WAPO's "list of lies by Biden"?

If the question to Psaki is about Warp Speed, I certainly hope that she gives credit to the previous administration.
The question here however was about the J&J and Merck agreement. There should be no problem with the Biden admin taking a victory lap for this one and no reason to praise the former admin. The agreement involves help from HHS. I don't know when the companies starting speaking to each other, but it is clear that the final agreement was with THIS admin at the table since they are providing logistical assistance.
I really disliked when WAPO and others counted 20000 lies by Trump, as they ended up conflating some real serious lies that Trump made -I mean some really egregious stuff- with just ommissions or using the stats that put them in the best light (what all admins have always done)
You are probably right that this might have been tallied by WAPO as a lie. I would have disagreed with that assesment. Note that Psaki acknowledges that there was previous contact between the two companies, actually answers the question, and acknowledges the actual situation . That in and of itself should be refreshing

So we can revisit this if and when Psaki refuses to credit the previous admin when asked about Warp Speed. Until then, I have zero issue with how Psaki adressed THIS question.

I gotta admit, Mello, you 'caught me on the rise and shot me in the heart' with that one. Great comeback! No "what-about" or anything from me... that was a really good 'counterpunch', fair-and-square. :salute:
