By seven, my friend.... by seven!!! Oh, still easy.... never mind I saw this story earlier in the week.... while I fully believe it, because Bannon was clearly a source for Wolff and Woodward books, I don't believe for a second Bannon "wanted to do something about it", except figure out how to turn a sick man to his own advantage... Think about this for a second.... T**** pardons a man who was scamming T**** voters, and they cheer that... Talk about mass dementia....
BTW, there is no such thing as "had" dementia...... there's no recovery or cure.... Bannon thought he HAS dementia.... and it got noticeably worse with every passing day, leading to an insurrection attempt on 1/6...
He is onto finding more press to enhance whatever career he has. Without a medical degree I pay no attention to his diagnosis.
I think this thread was made because of all the recent threads of Joe's verbal slip-ups, so this poster had to go back in time to try and make some noise to cover up all of Joe's slip ups. Trump said A LOT of dumb stuff, but nothing he said points to dementia. Nothing he said points to forgetfulness. Even if you could prove this about Trump it does NOT take away from all of Joe's slip ups WHO is actually the current President of the United States. Trump is not relevant anymore and no amount of bringing him back up will take away from anything Joe does.
I love it. People obsessing about a prior president making reference to mental disorders. I thought the tanTrumps would stop when Biden won, but they just keep coming.
Trump never was a confident man. He wore his manifold insecurities and petty personal grievances right out on his sleeve for all the world to see. And he placed far more attention on avenging perceived personal slights than he did on actually doing his job. Everyone in any kind of power saw the weakness Trump radiated. He tried to hide it under a false front of vulgar tinselly glitz and a lot of chest beating and phony machismo. Trump was a poor man’s idea of a rich man. A fool’s idea of a smart man.
Do you think that's what is going on here? Trump's father was very rich so Trump probably felt like he didn't have to listen to anybody else. It is common among the very privileged to feel that way. So, this particular teacher/professor would have already known that Trump felt like he was untouchable. I went to private schools (but never acted like a brat). You would be horrified at how some of my classmates treated our teachers/professors and they mostly got away with it because mommy and daddy were big donors and usually bullies themselves.
Brooks is completely untrustworthy. Fake News NYT columnist David Brooks promoted a think tank without disclosing that he was being paid by them. "The Aspen Institute's project received $250,000 from Facebook. Brooks failed to disclose his ties to the project or Facebook to readers." Vile Corrupt Dishonest Scum:
The Election was pretty dodgy. Hopefully the 2022 Election is more open and transparent. So when will Biden deliver the customary national address to a joint session of Congress?
Steve Bannon graduated from Virginia Tech College of Architecture and Urban Studies in 1976, with a bachelor's degree in urban planning. While serving in the navy, he earned a master's degree in national security studies in 1983 from Georgetown University School of Foreign Service. In 1985, Bannon earned a Master of Business Administration degree with honors from Harvard Business School. Link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve...n (born November, seven months of Trump's term. I cannot find any reference to support an idea that Mr. Bannon ever achieved any recognition as a person who studied or attained a degree in psychology, psychiatry, or any branch of human pathology. "Opinions make horse races".... . "...and opinions are like buttholes -- everybody's got one...."
I'm not a medical professional, nor is Bannon. So even though I have much personal/family experience with dementia, I wouldn't presume to label someone I don't know with the affliction. But it doesn't take a medical degree to identify a person who demonstrates insecurities on a regular basis.
Yeah... terrible thing, that. I hear it was planned and coordinated in advance. They have to be the most feckless group of terrorists in American history. Not ONE of them remembered to bring a firearm. Seriously... I'd be ashamed as an adult to continue spreading this claptrap story. But you won't. No one on the Left will stop or moderate their rhetoric. Meanwhile, Congress is so afraid of the American people that they want to keep a few thousand armed TROOPS in our Capitol, behind steel fencing topped with concertina wire. It's disgusting the lengths they seem willing to go to keep power.
Ooooooops, and explosives lets not forget! Police seized alarming number of weapons on Capitol rioters, court documents show https://thehill.com/regulation/cour...ng-number-of-weapons-on-capitol-rioters-court
Thanks for responding... I personally don't see the value of pointing out their numerous inaccuracies anymore...
The Election wasn't dodgy. Trump lost all his lawsuits and the Supreme Court refused to hear his case. So I repeat my question: will it ever be possible to make Trump - whom you consider to be a sane man - understand that he lost?
The Trumpist "right" confuses a lack of intellectual honesty and elementary critical thinking skills for "confidence."
Yes it was. When you lie to trick the GOP observers into leaving, claim the counting has stopped, and then haul trunks of ballots out from under tables to count without observers, the results you produce in no sense compel acceptance. You know it. I know it. The American People know it. Trump Has Won Two-Thirds of Election Lawsuits Where Merits Considered. Of the 22 cases that have been heard by the courts and decided on their merits, Trump and Republicans have prevailed in 15. Spreadsheet http://republicbroadcasting.org/new...of-election-lawsuits-where-merits-considered/ 25 additional cases are still working through the process. Those will be settled before the 2022 election and the Left's ability to steal votes will likely be severely hampered, and I expect that we will see a much different outcome. The GOP could easily retake both Houses, and with the Majority in the House in GOP hands, Trump elected Speaker. If Biden ever manages to deliver a speech to a Joint Session of Congress, Trump won't tear up his speech. Though, Biden may never be up to this, but, if the GOP takes both Houses, Trump may address a Joint Session as Speaker.
It is difficult to tell where his psychopathy ends and the dementia begins But I will make one prediction - the minute that any of the current lawsuits start to threaten Either Melania or the kids He will be committed to a nursing home with a big “we were just doing what he told us to do” sign around his neck
No lawsuit by Trump led to a Republican victory in any state where he challenged the vote count. He lost them all. That's a fact. But feel free to live in a parallel reality where Trump was robbed of the election. Besides, I hope that you and all your fellow Trumpsters continue to deny reality for as long as possible. This will allow the Democrats to stay in power for a long time.
You claimed that Trump and the Republicans had not won ANY of the lawsuits they filed. In fact, where the Court agreed to hear the case, they have won two out of three, with 25 still pending. I expect they could win most of those as well. By the time 2022 gets here, we'll have a much more honest ballot, and the GOP will have a much better election outcome. As for all the claims about “intelligence” on new “uprisings” on January 20, March 4, March 20, if this is just people spreading rumors to make the authorities on the Left look stupid, it’s working! This won't: "WAR ON THE WORKING CLASS": Democrats Just Snuck a $1 billion tax hike on workers into their Covid bill. Democrats will likely be thrown out of power in Congress in the 2022 election. And if Dems keep insulting Free Thinking Sinema of AZ, the GOP could resume control of the Senate at any moment. https://pjmedia.com/instapundit/436403/ Haters Of The Working Class. Democrats add language to coronavirus "aid" package that sends "tax collectors into the gig economy, eventually costing Uber and DoorDash drivers, Airbnb hosts and others about $1 billion annually,” Roll Call reports." As for Presidential Dementia:
