The national anthem should never have been dragged into these commercial enterprises. That they would now profit from this socio-political movement is in keeping, but equally reprehensible. Sports have very little content other than stating participant performance and final results. Politics should be separate.

The Black Community needs to start developing a little Pride and develop into a Society of Leaders instead of being Hung up on Slavery for eternity. people watch sports to escape the crap going on in everyday life. Many people just don’t want to hear it, for at least the time it takes to enjoy a soccer game. People are just so burned out from all the politics. Keep politics out of entertainment. There is a time and a place for it. Sports is not it.
