So you admit that despite laws banning them from getting guns, they get guns. And you want to disarm the rest of us. How in the world does that make sense? If all guns were banned it wouldnt be any more difficult to get a gun than it would be to get illegal drugs. Pretty damn easy. All you would be doing is making the rest of us less safe and more vulnerable to gun violence.

Tell the class the gun laws in Colorado and Boulder. Then you'll see how much compromise has already occurred.
No one else in that store but the cop and the shooter had a gun. There is your issue.
Now theoretically every male over the age of 18 and under the age of 45 (might be 40, would have to check) is part of the militia according to the Militia Act and the basic constitutional definition. Theoretically they should all be armed and able to stop such a heinous attack on the populace.
What say we compromise and open carry is brought back as a basic matter of right available to all citizens?

NO... they use the old method of "two steps forward, one step back" -- which in this case means they want to eventually deny ALL American citizens the right to defend themselves legally by making it impossible for them to possess and use firearms any longer...!

First, they take away 'this'... then, they take away 'that'... then comes additional, monstrously-high taxes and 'fees' on anything related to guns, and, finally, they just come and confiscate all weapons from law-abiding U. S. citizens -- leaving firearms only in the hands of "criminals and crazies". And all that law-abiding citizens will be able to do is hope they don't get 'put-on-hold' when they call 911 as their front doors are being kicked-in by home invaders....

Did Biden have anything to say about this mass shooting? If not, why? Also, while the left is losing it over people enjoying spring break, nothing was said about a packed building full of people.

Be it shootings, riots, or large gatherings, if the folks on the left do it, then it gets ignored.

 

While I'm generally against capital punishment when there is still some a potential doubt, when the case is this clear and they catch the person in the act, I'd have to agree with you here...

I've heard some conspiracies around those events and this latest one in Boulder. It's hard to conceptualize our government staging mass murders to push through legislation for gun control. It's never worked in the past so why keep going that route?
