It shouldn't have happened in the first place but I'm glad these donors were able to recover their money.

    What do you think?

    No...

They shouldn’t have been given refunds.

Donors got what they should have known. If you support a crook, you get burned. So I have mixed feelings. I’d rather see the money go to charity.

I don't believe they are aware they are supporting a crook. To them, he is the rightful holder of the POTUS position and needs money to help fight that battle in court. Doesn't make sense to the rest of us but it does to them.

The refunds should go to the NAACP. Poetic justice since just about anyone who made them was hoping they'd be used to repress black people.

Trump was/is such a TOTAL POS to pull this and it should be added to the many things he will be going to jail for.

And it's yet another item of proof that the Trumpublican Party has become nothing more than a giant adjunct of organized crime in this country and should be busted up using RICO statutes. Just about the entirety of the Republican Congress should be serving long sentences alongside John Gotti et al which is basically all they are.

Repressing black people, hmmm, you mean by assuming they're too stupid to have an ID and follow simple ballot instructions? Or maybe by defunding police and crippling their ability to operate in minority dense areas? Or by harassing companies so that they end up eliminating job opportunities for minorities all for the sake of virtue signaling nonsense?

I’m guessing that’s worse. At some point Trump University et al should have told them something. Really, how many Yugos is a person going to buy before they get the point. I guess Trump donators are why telemarketing was “ invented”.

Yup. That response closes the deal. Hope you don’t get a refund.

The Trump Campaign had to refund money to over 500,000 people, mostly because they put a bewildering and ever changing series of pre-ticked boxes for repeat donations in their fund raising emails & websites.

Just another reminder that Trump sees his supporters as 'marks' who exist to further his ends. The sad thing is just how obvious this has been from the outset. Yet even this won't change the minds of Trump supporters. They will find some way to pretend it isn't what it so clearly is. Just another day in Trumpworld.

    Yup.
I think the con job is still going on. I’m sure his election committee donations find their way into his defense funds. The idea he will run again is essential to the con job.

Happens all the time. People know it happens all the time. Yet when it comes to Trump its "fraud" or him being a "crook".

Everyone knows that before you agree to anything you read everything, small print especially. Hell, I learned that back in my elementary school days and I didn't even have to worry about such things. Every time I download a new program I'm always having to uncheck boxes. And I know that they will be there before I download something so always actively look for them. I just bought two new computers for my kids and when setting up Windows guess what I had to do? That's right...uncheck boxes. Including one that was trying to get me to buy Microsoft Word. And you all are trying to act as if this is something new? Something that isn't so commonly done that the whole world knows about it and deals with it?

Additionally Trump did not have to give that money back. But he did. Not that it will matter to those that hate Trump and make everything about him a mountain sized issue.

Let me guess...you're one of the people that hollered whenever Trump said Hillary should be locked up? Something along the lines of "going after political opponents"? Now look at you...wanting an entire political party locked up and claiming that they are "organized crime".

Without a doubt, one of the absolute dumbest, most hyperbolic and hysterical flamebaiting claims I have ever read here.

    Congratulations, quite the "accomplishment"

I wont hold my breath waiting on a single iota of evidence.

*note, I called the claim dumb, because it certainly is.

The solution is simple. What ever money you get back, send it right back to Trump as a gift. Shouldn’t be too hard. Just don’t send it to his charity. That was closed for fraud also.

By all means, keep supporting the the gop with a history of criminal activity. ..... that’s your right.
Big difference. How many times has the Clinton foundation been charged with fraud ? We’ll wait while you look it up. Try zero. Why don’t you to see how much criminality went on in the Trump admin ? Try 215 not including his personal fraud with his charity and Trump university.
Recent administrations with the MOST criminal indictments: notice the pattern ?

    Trump (Republican) — 215

    Nixon (Republican) — 76

    Reagan (Republican) — 26

"Recent administrations with the LEAST criminal indictments:

    Obama (Democrat) — 0

    Carter (Democrat) — 1

    Clinton (Democrat) — 2

Let’s sit back over the next few weeks and watch how businesses respond to GOP lead voter suppression activities.
You know, the business that can do NO WRONG IN THE EYES OF THE GOP. MLB has pulled the AS game out of Atlanta. Forbes and the Fortune 500 has recommended NO ONE hire former Trump admin employees.

Be careful Trump supporters, Trump can’t hand out any more pardons !

He would have lost big time in court, and he knows it. But he got what he needed, a quick influx of cash leading up to the election. Now he can refund that money using the money the morons gave him to fight the steal, that was not used for the purpose.

Seems Trump's fund raising is just one giant ponzi scheme.

Then why did he ? Answer....civil fraud can quickly turn to criminal fraud if restitution isn’t made. The same happened with his charity and fake university ( joke). Paying fines and restitution is a way rich people get out of going to jail and avoid prosecution. Do the research. No one is stopping anyone.

Oh yeah, Trump gave the money back out of the goodness of his heart. The fact that his donors sued should have told you something.

Trump's still living in their head because the current President is engaged in economic suffrage against Georgians and generally being a terrible President.
