also irrelevant. you can't kill someone who is unarmed and is not a threat. resisting arrest, while handcuffed and laying face down on the pavement (snicker) is not a justification for lethal force.

The autopsy already showed it was.

Obviously, like many Trumpists, your vision of society is strongly colored by your political ideas.

Even though this is a news story where once again a white policeman kills a black man for no reason.

It appears that you didn't listen to the testimony of Chauvin's superiors in court.

    You should have.

And what do they all say?

That Chauvin used excessive force to subdue a man who was already under his control.

For this reason, the Minneapolis Police Department immediately suspended Chauvin and his friends.

Not because of public pressure, not because they didn't want to start a riot, but because a crime had been committed.

So prepare yourself for Chauvin's conviction.

There were two autopsies and they differed in that respect which results in an element of doubt.

    No.

Because Floyd was already dead when the ambulance arrived.

This was confirmed by the first paramedic on the scene.

But maybe the jurors will believe the huge coincidence that Floyd died of an overdose the moment a cop pressed his knee to his neck.

I've seen the video of instruction from the Minneapolis police, seems your assumption of time wasn't part of it, one way or another. IF DEATH WERE A PROBABILITY, THEY WOULDN'T ENDORSE THE TECHNIQUE IN THE FIRST PLACE.

No problem with justice here- except for those armchair people and street thugs who think that justice is their own prerogative.

Murder has to be PROVEN, and that means there must be intent. Do you really think that any cop would intend to murder anyone in a slow, public act being filmed with many witnesses, body cams and people using cell phones? This guy has been a cop for 19 years. He's not that stupid. My question is- How stupid would a person have to be to believe any cop would do that?

And this isn't a conversation with you- it's a BullS**t rebuttal for people you're trying to influence.

again, no police department anywhere in the US teaches their officers to kneel on the carotid artery of a hand cuffed and face down laying suspect for over 7 minutes, 3 of which he was unconscious.

    ok?
you do not need intent. you only have to show depraved indifference. Which is quite evident in the dozens of vidoes of Chauvin kneeling on the neck of a handcuffed and face down laying man for over 7 minutes.
    don't need intent.
you'd have to actually provide evidence that every single video of the incident has been doctored, in order to rebut anything I've said.

You are arguing that Floyd, a citizen of the USA, had no right to life simply due to past bad acts.

Do you care to defend that point?

If I kill someone, do I get to go free if I can dig into the victim's history and show that the individual had no right to life based on past bad acts, including acts for which he hasn't even been charged and which are irrelevant to the incident?

As for Chauvin, how many decorations adds up to one free murder?

Even if all of that is true it doesn't absolve Chauvin of murder.

    Except this...
Minneapolis Police Chief Medaria Arradondo testified Monday that former city police officer Derek Chauvin was not using the defense tactics taught by his police department with suspects resisting arrest when he pinned George Floyd to the street, placing his knee to Floyd’s neck.

What does the chief know? What does the ME know? Nothing. We here at PF are far superior to police chiefs and medical examiners. Plus, Floyd is BLACK!

And all you want is to burn down cities. The fact you don't actually know what the cause of death is, nor have you actually cited the coroner's report that outlines it, just demonstrates that you're actively willing to lie about facts because you intend to watch the cities burn again. Try being honest for a change.

"MINNEAPOLIS — In filing a motion to dismiss the charges he faces in the death of George Floyd, former Minneapolis police officer Thomas Lane included 30 pages of MPD training materials, including information on a restraint called the "maximal restraint technique," and a photo of an officer with his knee to a suspect's neck similar to the hold used by former officer Derek Chauvin on Floyd"
MPD training shows neck restraint similar to that used on Floyd | kare11.com

What a crazy post. The only thing I burn is 91 octane, weed and tobacco. I cited the manner of death, which you're well aware of.

Blah blah blah burn blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. Cities. Overdose. Blah. Blah.

Ridiculous post there broham. Got any more? Hit me with The nonsense. Blah.

Police officers tend to have no better than average IQ's, ie 100. It is why they have to rely on their training. It is not like they really think things through. High IQ individuals are often excluded from serving as police officers, by design. Something about a person in the 100 range understands right and wrong but lacks the ability to see the nuances that a more intelligent person readily sees.

Lots of real estate you consumed for such a paucity of commentary. I provided the example from Dallas where officers acted in the same way, and their perp died. And yet, you couldn't be bothered then. It was only after a narrative supporting incident did you notice that police exercise this which they receive training, ostensibly by their superiors who demand they become trained in it and then use it in practice. Chauvan's conviction isn't for using "excessive force". He is being overcharge by a political hack of a district attorney who is in fact abusing his office to score a political point. So, your assertion is that Chauvan and "his friends" whatever that means, you meant to write other officers responding to the event, right? And yes, because of public pressure and their city burning to the ground did said prosecutorial monster weigh in here. The best news ever is that when the defense has the ability to present their case, you'll be forced to witness all of the misconduct of said superiors, and abuse of power by the DA in this case. And why you are confronted with those facts, you still won't change your mind, because, will you. You will still believe the lie that Floyd, drug addled, and close to death from his over use of drugs by his own hand died while being detained by the police who for over 20 minutes attempted to simply seat the guy in the back of a car, and who, because of his own abuse, couldn't breath from the beginning of the interactions with police. The idea that you'd simply ignore all of that to attempt to foist the "police racist" BS narrative is an abuse of the rest of our time here. I expect that Chauvan may be acquitted. And you should prepare yourself for that reality, because, based on your posting, it might personally effect you.

Oh, and put away your childish branding. There is no more Trump to scream at. You are Biden folk now. Get used to that. It will have some interested outcomes. Biden folk, the mob that cannot stop destroying stuff long enough to get the actual story.

What does George Floyd's crime history have to do with a reason to have a knee on his neck for so long? Can't the cops just start tranquilizer darting everyone so this crap doesn't happen?

That statement makes zero sense. He was placed down on the pavement because he was resisting before he placed there.

Simply put, dude died of his overdose which was 3xs the fatal amount for Fentanyl alone. Good luck with your fantasy though.

The ME's conclusion was contrary to his own autopsy, toxicology report, and the fact of Floyd's stress and over exertion, which in and of themselves are deadly to someone with advanced cardiovascular disease.
