Yes but there was never an independent country/state called "Palestine", it was an area in the ottoman empire and later a British mandate, a county called Palestine was never conquered or destroyed by Israelis...which is part of the Palestinian narrative.

Yes, there is nothing new going on. For some reason US foreign policy has been to at least pretend to care about the Palestinians, although we full well know there wont be peace any time soon. Christians believe it wont happen until the anti-Christ takes of the world, and personally I am not looking forwards to that kind of "peace".

Opposing something for the sake of opposing is the knee-jerk reaction of the partisan mind.

 

There's plenty we can put Trump away for that isn't this. This can come later if it looks like he may ever get out.

 

You missed his point. Israel did not exist in modern times until 1947, whereas Palestine did.

can we afford to give any foreign aid right now? Useless politicians in their zeal to make appearances of doing somethg against COvid caused countless businesses to shutter and good people lost everything. Let's take care of our own by

1: never again voting Democrat

2: stop the lock downs, test mandates and capacity limits

3: provide 0% small biz loans to get people restarted in business

once we get people back on the private payroll, then we can think about aiding other areas

 

I stopped voting for Democrats in time to elect Reagan the first time. Ahead of him, I only voted for democrats.
