The latest is that Turkey is sending the Syrian militants (terrorists) from Idlib to Ukraine's front line. Turkey plays some game there, and I wonder how long Russia will tolerate it. Russia wants Turkey to clear out the militants from Idlib, so Turkey sends them wherever they can oppose the Russians. Turkey has its own claims on Crimea, so their alliance with Kiev right now is self serving.

American transport planes have been landing in Spain and heading to Kiev packed with who knows what. Russia did give an ultimatum that if certain missiles are placed in Ukraine, they will be attacked. Right now there are serious discussions going on and the alert is very high.

 

The head of Stratfor said a few years back, the one thing the Americans feared the most, was a union of Russia and Germany and that our policy had always been to keep them apart. Frankly, I think it was Britain's policy more than ours, but it must have upset the Germans, because it was quickly covered up.

Vladimir Putin had plans on creating a trading partnership that would extend from Vladisvostok to Barcelona, and he couldn't understand Germany going against its own interests by siding with the US in Ukraine. Later he realized how deep the financial connections were between the EU and US.

Absolutely right -- and don't forget the entanglements that all of us in "the West" have had with various central banks, like the Federal Reserve, the European Central Bank, and their stooge-organizations, like the IMF.

Still, I've said for years now that when it's all said and done, there will be three countries ruling over everything of any importance in the entire Eastern Hemisphere -- Russia, China, and the EU, which means, of course, Germany.

We Americans will continue to busy ourselves for years into the future with tearing down 100 year-old statues, figuring out who can go piss in which public bathrooms, and other blithering-idiot, 'woke' issues of enormous importance. I wonder if we'll even see it coming when we are essentially laughed out of half the planet....
