NEW York state has approved a fund that will award a one-time $15,600 stimulus payment to illegal workers.

The $2.2billion program for "excluded workers" will provide payments for hundreds of thousands of people who are not eligible for other government aid but has been criticized by Republican lawmakers.

Soo.... Granted they have to show they've been a "resident" of New York over the last year, and have lost work due to COVID, however they've been skirting the system for decades. How is this not even more incentive for illegal immigrants to do everything in their power to come to the US, knowing that we are such a charitable nation?

Just imagine how this news in received in South and Central America??

 

They deserve it far more than poor Americans or Small Businesses on the brink.... according to Democrats.

 

So glad the "Covid relief bill" had billions for states like NY so they can just give that money straight to illegals....

And what makes you think illegals who pay taxes just like you and me should not be eligible? The word illegal must be evading you somehow. And since these are illegals and can't legally get a W2, there is NO empirical data to suggest that even half pay any taxes at all so your claim is at the very least, suspect. All the while, you merely need to prove that you've lived in New York for at least a year and were impacted by COVID which automatically makes you eligible.

And to say they pay more in taxes is absolute bullshit! For every employee the Trump organization has, you do realize, they have to match FICA, Social security and medicare tax which is estimated to be well over 30,000 employees.

How are they filing tax returns if they do not have a social security number?

All you need is a tax filing ID number, which you can sign up for even if you don't have a social security number, but the MSM won't tell you that because it does not fit the narrative.

A lot of illegal aliens are using fake or stolen identities to live here and buy phones and stuff. You'd be surprised at all the products that need ID, you're probably not even thinking about it when you sign up.

I don't know how illegal aliens will sign up if they have a fake ID, which I'm under the impression is a felony.

I am really perplexed by this situation because I was under the impression that illegal immigrants were "hiding" from authorities which is why they are still here. However, if they are working, paying taxes and protesting, the authorities already know where they are. So, there is a huge plot hole somewhere.
