    He did want to decriminalize the border and he is letting in lots of illegals. Everything he says makes illegal criminals want to keep coming.

    I consider decriminalizing the border to be open borders.

    Officially? There was a technical recession due to COVID in 2020 before Government spending kicked in as a substitute for private spending. But I take your point. However there's zero sign of inflation coming back to life pretty much anywhere in the West albeit its way under what most reserve Banks consider the 'healthy' (2-3 %) rate. For that matter the Head of the US Federal Reserve has just gone on the records as saying there's no chance of a rate rise (from zero!!!) in sight for at least 12 months.

    So, while possible a recession that soon looks unlikely at the moment. That aside however even if you are right then it pretty much doesn't matter which party controls the White House given the same general settings by the Federal Reserve and big deficits which party is in charge. Fiscal conservatism was thrown out the window decades ago, by both sides.

    Ain't gonna happen. The one thing he did that was successful is that Trump cut Corporate Taxes. Another cut there would place us among the lowest in the world and businesses that had left because of taxes and jitters due to Trump's unpredictability will come flocking back, hiring people and cutting unemployment. Biden is a known quantity and he will actually listen to his advisors, all of whom are these modified Keynesians like AOC who follow this New Economics like we should have been doing all along but weren't because acting like the nation itself is just a big household benefitted Republicans

    According to MMT raising taxes is how you counter inflation, and Biden has done nothing in this area yet.

    You all do realize that trump is raising money for his Tax free PAC fund that only he can withdraw from and will be protected from the impending list of lawsuits? If you contribute don't contribute to that fund unless you want to wave at a bankrupt Trump passing you on the shore from a rented super yacht staffed by 4 star chefs and teenage dancing girls.

    Hate for Trump has had an effect, that's for sure.

    Because a majority of Americans disapproved of his policies.

    Whereas right now, 54% of voters are happy with Biden's job.

    Well considering that a pandemic (H1N1) hit the US while Obama was in office - and that pandemics seem to travel
    around the world about every decade - I'd say the odds were pretty high that many Presidents will have
    to deal with pandemics. It's how they handle them that matters.

    But if you want to play the Victim Card once again for Trump, have at it - it does just make Trump sound like a whiney little girl, though.

    I loved the fact that he put "worst pandemic" in 100 years in quotes...

    Is there any question about that?? In educated circles that believe COVID is an actual thing, that is?

    Was T**** the favorite to win in 2020 before COVID? Probably a very slight favorite in the EC, although Penn and Mich were already 100% lost to him.

    His loss in the PV was already going to be much worse than 2016, but probably not the 7+ Million spanking he eventually received.

    It was sane moderate REPUBLICANS who voted AGAINST the biggest *LOSER* for the BENEFIT of the nation as a whole. They still voted FOR the R candidates in down ballot races which is what CAUSED the discrepancy.

    As far as the Pandemic goes all you need to do is look at the historical PATTERN. We had encountered a surge in EPIDEMICS during the Obama administration that were dealt with COMPETENTLY and effectively PREVENTED from becoming pandemics.

    The Q-GOP's biggest *LOSER* was provided with a GOLDEN opportunity to LEAD the nation and he WASTED it and indirectly caused the NEEDLESS deaths of HUNDREDS of THOUSANDS of Americans. That is WHY the moderate Republicans voted AGAINST him.

    The Dems have BIPARTISAN support from the ELECTORATE on BOTH the Covid Relief and Infrastructure SPENDING so good luck in 2022 trying to DUPE them into believing that was BAD for them.

    YOUR biggest *LOSER* crashed the economy in 2020 which resulted in a recession. The Dems are passing SPENDING bills that are restarting the economy and it will BENEFIT them in 2022 and 2024.
