Normally, Presidents talk with other living Presidents - Trump was an anomaly because he couldn't stand to

I did not vote for Biden, was not really happy to have him as the POTUS, but figured he was still better than Trump.

I have a few other things to complain about.

The border is a disaster. There is no way that can be laid on Bush.

Some people are refusing to go back to work because they are making more money from their unemployment than their jobs.

The stimulus bills are driving the national debt into areas where it can never be paid off.

I do like his decision to get out of Afghanistan.

 

Its not shocking at all that biden finally talked talked to perhaps the only republican that wouldn't tell him just how confused and totally inept he is and has been concerning foreign affairs. You see, Bush is a globalist just like biden, so it makes sense that biden who has been wrong on every single foreign affair issue over many years has found a republican that will listen to his nonsense. Keep in mind that biden (supposedly the man to unify America and the two partys) has done anything but. Biden hasn't asked to see any Republican senators or congressmen to discuss the border crisis or anything else for that matter. He's the most decisive president in our history, as well as being the most dangerous and destructive one. Now I see where biden has adamantly stated on numerous occasions his rejection of court packing, but now is now on full board with packing the court.

 

It is. This seems to come and go in waves. Trump had a big massive wave early in his term as well. There is really little the POTUS can do if you do not get congress on board.

This is a big problem, but more on congress than the POTUS. I have a friend that was "furloughed" from her HR job at a resort in SC. She has not worked in almost a year and has not had to look for new work since she was furloughed, which is total bullshit. And based on her FB post she is not sitting at home eating ramen.

We have been there for a while. Adding so much to it before the virus is what did us in. During the "booming" economy we should have been slashing the deficit, but instead we doubled it.

Me too, I really hope he follows through with it.

 

He had an agreement with Mexico to hold them in Mexico and it was working. Plus, in spite of the democrats claim that walls don't work, they do work. Biden practically invited them to come. And come they did.

He talked about it, but since he never did anything about it till right before the end of his term, I just assume it was one more lie he told

 

walls must be guarded in order for them to work. with enough troops or police to guard trump's wall the border needs no wall and you will go back to complaining about the government payroll.

as long as america's job creators want illegal labor they will continue to recruit from latin america. congress, in a very bipartisan way, will never "close" the border.

 

Walls work? We have seen kids being dropped over the wall, not really sure that is a sign it is working.

 

It takes a combination of walls and personnel. The wall slows them down which means you don't have to chase them down after they get across the border.

Try getting a large number of people over the wall at the same time without being discovered. The border patrol people say the walls work. Do you think all those walls they put up around the capitol would have worked if there weren't guards to back them up? Do you think the guards could stop them without walls?

Didn't see where Kriman mentioned "Joe's" name at all. He did refer to "Joe" as to liking his decision to get out of Afghanistan. Would that constitute as a "Joe is bad" thread?

Believe me that's as far as Biden's commitment to "unity" is ever gonna extend. Filibuster hating, SCOTUS court packin' Joe ain't reaching across the aisle or discussing anything, with any (R) that's still in office.
