Do you feel we currently have a “well regulated militia” in this nation?

    Yes or no?

So they are going to smear more forced on the walls of federal buildings? Hang some more nooses?

Is the argument really that we not make laws that piss them off to bad or they will kill many Americans in the process? Because that is kind of more justification tbh

Did you notice how you failed to address the remainder of my post?
    I did.
In 2018, deaths from mass shootings fell 38.7% You did not give Trump credit for the drop.
In 2019, deaths from mass shootings fell an additional 4.5%. You did not give Trump credit for the drop.
In 2020, deaths from mass shootings fell an astonishing 92.3%. You did not give Trump credit.for the drop.
So far, in 2021, deaths from mass shootings are up 233% from 2020. You do not blame Biden for the increase.

Thus proving you only care about mass shootings so far as you can use the victims for political gain.

You seem to be saying that the goverrnment would give everyone guns when the people formed a well regulated militia.
Are you saying that if the government took away everyone's guns and then the government decided to become a dictatorship, a well regulated militia could be formed and the government would give everyone guns to fight the new government? I'm really not sure what your thinking is here. At what point would the government give a well regulated militia guns?

And how will this affect the shooter who kills himself afterward?

I agree with much of what you have just written and have the same distant memories but am curious as to how shutting down the internet would alter today's mass shootings.

    Thanks,

I have shown in various Posts that the inability to get a firearm resulted in more deaths(1) as a determined mass killer will simply resort to using any number of crude WMDs, Anthrax, vehicles, Bio-Chem mixtures etc that are readily available.
The killer in the "Happy Land fire" only wanted to kill one person but because he couldn't get a gun, 86 additional, innocent people were killed.

Please keep in mind that people have managed to kill each other in large numbers long before the invention of the firearm.

    (1) "Happy Land fire"
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Happy_Land_fire

EXCERPT "González went to an Amoco gas station, then returned to the establishment with a plastic container with $1 worth of gasoline.[2][4] He spread the fuel at the base of a staircase, the only access into the club, and then ignited the gasoline.[5]

Eighty-seven people died in the resulting fire."CONTINUED

If your argument were true, there would have been an incredible number of ammonium nitrate bombings since Oklahoma City in 1995.

Except that there's now a national registry that strictly controls its sale and purchase.

As a result, there has not been another Timothy Mcveigh in 26 years.

Certainly, my claim was that there are over 50 countries, including Russia, with far higher homicide rates than the US and much stricter gun laws or complete bans.

If draconian gun laws / bans worked in reducing homicides, they would work everywhere.

How strictly controlled is gasoline that with a few simple additives can be made even more deadly?

Owning a gun is protected by the Constitution. Trying to amend the 2A to make gun ownership more difficult is seen as an intrusion on the protected right to own guns. Gun owners aren't breaking any laws yet folks like yourself want to force Americans to illegally own guns and that is a recipe for disaster because law abiding citizens will be punished and the lawless and mentally ill will continue to get their hands on guns.

It's a proven fact that the arrival of a second firearm stops a random shooting "event".

If there weren't the draconian firearm laws that make it difficult if not impossible for law abiding citizens to exercise their right to own and possess firearms, these types of shootings would be more of a rarity than they already are.

Mass killers choose places where they are likely to NOT get shot at.

Your data gives the homicide rate per 100,000 inhabitants.

But I don't see where it correlates with gun restrictions.

    You are missing this.

Come back to me when you have real data to submit.

How do you explain mass killings on military bases?

Military personnel aren't allowed to carry firearms on military bases except for military police.

    How about that.

And why aren't the military allowed to walk around with their guns ?
