Carlson: We should start asking people to stop wearing masks outside, it makes us uncomfortable

I wasn't aware I was supposed to be wearing a mask outside until the CDC said I didn't need to since I am fully vaccinated. I mean sometimes I would when doing the walk of shame in parking lots at places like Walmart or Sam's club because it was just easier to have it on than have it in my hands, but mostly I never wore one when the sun was on my face. Just think of all the neighbors I could have killed just by being outside with no mask on. I should be saying like 20 Hail Anthony Fauci's or something to atone for me being a super spreader grass mower.

But with overdoes death even at the highest being only 2% of total deaths each year I am not sure a spike could move the overall needle very much.

 

This post sums up why the inherent physical properties of masks make them a potentially useful mitigation tool to control the spread of SARS-CoV-2 but that potential is seldom realized in real world application.
