Absolutely won dude. The two sightings were not the same sighting of an angel or two. Nor does it cause any un-truths about what happened with the Lord. He is risen and the atonement can work upon the faithful. The rest will have to suffer their own consequences. So, try again. You have anther false contradiction?

No point arguing contradictions with someone who declares fake victory rather than admit there is a contradiction.

No matter what spin you put on the words, one verse says it NEVER will happen and the other says it SHAII happen.

    BTW, my favorite Psalms verse:
Psalms 137: 9 Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones.

Now spin that into what a "loving" God you serve.

What does the length of time Adam was "so alone" it was "not good" while he was without sin and one with God have to do with the FACT that Adam was "so alone" it was "not good" while he was without sin and one with God?????

Your heavenly reward for being "saved" is ETERNAL loneliness while you are one with God!

I showed there was no contradictions. There can't be if the two events are different events. That's illogical. So, try another one. It will be the same outcome because there won't be a contradiction. I'm ready.

It's the same fictitious event described in two very different ways by different authors. Same Mary, same morning, same event (empty tomb). Address this properly before you try to rush ahead to other contradictions.

    Buri:

There is no contradiction in the verses you quoted above with regards to the Genesis creation account and the appearance of humans. Genesis 1:27 provides a summarization of what occurred with the humans by informing the reader that male and female were created, but it did not say they were created together. Genesis 2:7, 21-22 provides the details, informing the reader that Adam was created first and that Eve was taken from Adam's rib later. In fact, if you were paying attention, you would notice that the Jehovah stopped creating everything at Genesis 2:2.

"{1} Thus the heavens and the earth and everything in them were completed. {2} And by the seventh day, God had completed the work he had been doing, and he began to rest on the seventh day." (Genesis 2:1-2)

By the time we got the Genesis 2:7 where that verse explains HOW Adam was created, Genesis 2:2 had already stated that God had completed the work of creating. That is the clue that Genesis 2:7, 21-22 are merely elaborations aka explanations of what had already occurred.

I will deal with a few more of your supposed contradictions at another time.

SO, were they created together or separately?

    Buri:

If you were not so busy trying to raise doubts about the accuracy of Jehovah's inspired word, the Judeo-Christian Bible, you would understand that there is no contradiction among Genesis 6:4, Genesis 7:21, and Numbers 13:33. You are cherry-picking aka isolating verses from their context--a common behavior by those who lack scriptural understanding . For the benefit of others reading this thread, I will quote Genesis 6:4 and Numbers 13:33 below, along with part of their context. I will colorize in blue Genesis 6:4 and Numbers 13:33 so that they each stand out amidst their context.

Notice below the account at Genesis 6:4, along with part of its context.

{1} Now when men started to grow in number on the surface of the ground and daughters were born to the, {2} the sons of the true God [angels] began to notice that the daughters of men were beautiful. So they began taking as wives all whom they chose. {3} Then Jehovah said: 'My spirit will not tolerate man indefinitely, because he is only flesh. Accordingly, his days will amount to 120 years.' {4} The Nephilim were on the earth in those days and after ward. During that time the sons of the true God [angels] continued to have relations with the daughters of men, and these bore sons to them. They were the mighty ones of old times, the men of fame."

Notice the context to Genesis 6:4, the fact that these gigantic humans resulted from sexual relations between materialized angels and human females. Notice also that Jehovah commented on the result of this unnatural behavior by saying at verse 3 that he would allow only another 120 years before bringing this behavior to an end. So this confirms that Nephilim (gigantic men) resulted BEFORE the Biblical flood. Now, notice the difference at Numbers 13:33, starting with the context below.

"{1} Jehovah now spoke to Moses, saying: {2} 'Send out men to spy out the land of Canaan, which I am giving to the Israelites. You are to send out one man from each ancestral tribe, each one a chieftain among them.' {25} At the end of 40 days, they returned from spying out the land. {26} So they came back to Moses and Aaron and all the assembly of the Israelites in the wilderness of paran, at Kadesh. They brought back a report to all the assembly and showed them the fruitage of the land. {27} This is what they reported to Moses: 'We entered the land into which you sent us, and it is indeed flowing with milk and honey, and this is its fruitage. {28} Nevertheless, the people who dwell in the land are strong, and the fortified cities are very great. We also saw the Anakim there. {33} And there we saw the Nephilim, the sons of Anak, who are from the Nephilim, and in comparison we seemed like grasshoppers, both to us and to them.'" (Numbers 13:1, 2, 25-28, 33)

Did you notice the account at Numbers 13:33 and the context? The men who had been sent to spy out the land came back with an exaggerated report about the size of the male inhabitants. At no time does God confirm that the people in Canaan were actually Nephilim. Those that came back with this bad report were in fact REBELLING against Jehovah God. This rebellion is confirmed at the very next verse, this time, at Numbers 14:1 (verse 33 was the last verse in Numbers 13).

"{1} Then all the assembly raised their voice, and the people continued crying out and weeping all through that night. {2} All the Israelites began to murmur against and Aaron, and the whole assembly spoke against them, saying: "If only we had died in the land of Egypt, or if only we had died in the wilderness! {3} Why is Jehovah bringing us to this land to fall by the sword? Our wives and children will become plunder. Is it not better for us to return to Egypt?" (Numbers 14:1-3)

Now, if you continue reading the account, you will note that Joshua and Caleb, who had been among those spying out the land, did not agree with this exaggerated report about Nephilim and the rebellious desire to return to Egypt by the majority of the people. In fact they made it clear that this was nothing more than rebellion on the part of the majority of the people. Notice this below, and pay careful attention to the words I will bold and colorize in verse 9:

"{6} Joshua the son of Nun and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, who were among those who spied out the land, ripped their garments apart, {7} and they said this to the assembly of the Israelites: 'The land that we passed through to spy out is a very, very good land. {8} If Jehovah is pleased with us, he will certainly bring us into this land and give it to us, a land that is flowing with milk and honey. {9} But you must not rebel against Jehovah, and you must not fear the people of the land, for we will devour them. Their protection has been removed from them, and Jehovah is with us. Do not fear them. {10} However, all the assembly talked of stoning them. But Jehovah's glory appeared on the tent of meeting to all the people of Israel." (Numbers 14:6-10)

So Buri, although the men in Canaan might have very well been large men, their description as "Nephilim" was an exaggeration by people who had a history of rebelling against Jehovah, which they had been doing from the time Almighty God rescued them from slavery in Egypt.

First off there is no accuracy to jehovah's word or any other bit of fiction, and none of that has even been even remotely proven. The problem is you cannot reason or even discuss these things with people who take this mythology seriously. I'm not telling anyone what not to believe, I'm just living on the science side of this world. There is so much evil and bloodthirstiness in that (and many others) book I cannot take ethical or historical suggestions from it. Your mileage may vary.

That was the writings of one man (David) pouring his heart out. So he's expressing his emotions and saying how he felt in his prayer.

He's wishing that some enemy would do that to the children of his enemy, something that was not all that uncommon at that time when conquering armies defeated a city.

Perhaps this would help you who believes he is not actually a human being with human frailties. "The psalmist recalls both the disgraces of the Edomites (who looted Jerusalem) and the Babylonians who destroyed their capital city. He comes to two conclusions to end the psalm. First, he says, “Happy is the one who repays you according to what you have done to us” (Psalm 137:8). This cry for revenge desired the destruction of their enemies.

Then in verse 9, the psalmist adds further detail to this cry for revenge, claiming, “Happy is the one” who kills the infants of their enemy. The desire is graphically stated, but it is simply a call for the destruction of the entire nation—the nation that had enslaved the Jews, killed their babies, and destroyed their city. The destruction of Babylon was expressly foretold in Isaiah 13:16, and by referencing that prediction, the psalmist may mean to say that the men who were God’s instruments in carrying out that prophecy would be happy in doing His will.

If we keep in mind that the psalms are songs that express intense emotions, a statement such as “Happy is the one who seizes your infants and dashes them against the rocks” should not shock us. The writer did not intend to go out and kill babies; rather, he desired justice, which required the death of his enemies. Even today, those who have lost loved ones at the hands of others understandably desire the death of those who committed the crime.

We must be careful to interpret Psalm 137 in its historical context and apply it appropriately in connection with the full counsel of Scripture. It is a normal human desire to see justice done and for enemies to be defeated. However, Romans 12:17–19 commands, “Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: ‘It is mine to avenge; I will repay,’ says the Lord.” Psalm 137 is not a selfish prayer for personal revenge. It is a plea for God to intervene in the affairs of men to keep His covenant and right all wrongs." - https://www.gotquestions.org/dashing-babies-against-rocks.html

Anyone reading this thread can see that you are now trying to change the subject. You went from: the Bible is full of contradictions to now claiming Jehovah's word is fiction.

Jehovah's word suddenly became "fiction" after I debunked your supposed Bible contradictions.

    Nuff said.

    there are many

If one asked you what jesus' last words were, what would you say?

    Jesus' last words???

Matt.27:46,50: "And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, "Eli, eli, lama sabachthani?" that is to say, "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?" ...Jesus, when he cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost."

Luke23:46: "And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, "Father, unto thy hands I commend my spirit:" and having said thus, he gave up the ghost."

John19:30: "When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, "It is finished:" and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost."

No contradiction here. Matt verse 50 said he opened his mouth and spoke but Matthew did not write those words down. John wrote part of what he said down. Perhaps he was consoling his mother or the other Mary and didn't hear what is said in Luke. Or, perhaps the translation of one isn't accurate and they both represent the same thing Jesus said which makes sense reading both. No contradiction again. An event where people remember things that others don't. In this case, it's just a matter of Matthew leaving out what was said after verse 46 by Jesus. Another failed attempt. Next one?

Yet, every time you try to point out a contradiction, we answer it showing no contradiction. So, you try to move the goal post. Being an atheist doesn't prevent lying or deception. Good to know.
