So he can work in stealth mode, of course.

I see he is planning a summer grievance rally tour. No doubt he will be pushing the boundaries of incitement once again.

This. Trump's star rose, and it fell. Such is the life of every political figure in history. He just happens to bemoan his losses in...interesting ways lol.

Just watch. Assuming he stays out of an orange jump suit, he'll be running again in 2024 and will easily get the RINO nomination.

There is nothing he said that a reasonable person would consider a call for violence.

Thing is, I didn't worship the man nor am I afraid of him either. Frankly, for all of those afraid of the Trump Crowd, etc it's quite simple: Provide alternatives. Show examples of how your x policy is always going to be better than his policy(though again, they don't even have to do that anymore. Just mention the 6th.)

Trump has been neutered and defeated. I assure the democrats, the threat is over. Focusing on this threat means not being prepared for the actual 2024 nominee.

Yes. I saw that too. The part I can't figure out is, for the most part, Republicans seem to have the mindset that everybody should pull their own weight, no excuses, no nanny state. Okay, fair enough. Then, why do they not see his constant whining about the election as pathetic? They would have cut the dead weight in a second if it was anybody else.

I agree. I think @AmericanNationalist might be underestimating his star power a bit. No offense, AN.

I think they do. But it isn't as important to them as Trump's actions in office. Trump has a disagreeable personality but I think his supporters look past that.

We need to tell them that Trump is really in charge. Biden is just a figurehead. They'll believe it as neither they nor Trump had any idea what they were really doing anyway

I know a few that jumped ship over his pushing the vaccine but I know way more that kiss the ground he walks on. I just don't get it. We're not talking about a guy with small idiosyncrancies. His awful personality is beyond awful. I don't even know if there is even a word for the level of awful for his personality.

As an aside, I don't care for Harris either and for basically the same reasons. The constant laughing is annoying. Won't even try to touch on the hypocrisy of her attaching her name to Biden. Unlike Trump, she probably is intelligent on some level but it's hidden behind her annoying personality. There are VERY few people I can't stand to even watch. I'd take a Trump rally over her every day of the week and he gets on my last nerve.

No argument. But his actions were mostly good for the country.

She is way over her head. Chosen in a frenzy of box checking. Strange given her epic failure in the presidential campaign. I don't care unless she were to become president. I probably wouldn't care about that either.

I'm convinced she was picked to keep Biden from being assassinated. The rabid among Trump supporters are still out for blood but there is no way they're going to off Biden when she and Pelosi are the runner-ups. ;-)

And, therein lies the problem. I've always been a compassionate person - even as a kid. But, even the other kids that called people names and made fun of the disabled stopped around 5th or 6th grade.

It's like watching those "America's Funniest Videos" when people fall or crash into stuff. That's not even close to being funny.

Maybe I'm a snob but I like waking up not clenching myself to face what my POTUS may have tweeted overnight.

I guess because he is constantly telling them that his victimhood is their victimhood. He positions himself as their warrior who fights for them, and he portrays any investigation into him or action taken against him as an attack on them. No one else in the GOP has Trump's sociopathy and associated ability and desire to manipulate people, although a few, such as Gaetz and Greene, do try.

In case you missed it, more than half of Republicans believe Trump's lie that the election was stolen, and a much larger majority still want candidates who tend to agree with Trump. You claim that Trump is defeated, but the data clearly indicate otherwise.

I assure you, the Trump threat (to our democracy and way of life) is far from over. Trump's threat as a viable candidate in another general election is certainly questionable and even quite doubtful. However, he is already talking about running again, and if he does, who do you think is going to oppose him and win the nomination? And why do you imagine that policy matters when Republicans have walked away from any policy discussion beyond "Democrat BAAAD!!"?

He probably inherited the Alzheimer gene from his father who suffered from it for several years before his death.

Durandal, that's a very interesting theory. Upon reflection, it's just still bizarre. I mean, he grew up rich, he inherited gobs of properties and money. He has had the jet-set life his whole life. He can't even begin to relate to those of us that didn't. My parents are well off but I was disinherited (that's a whole other conversation). Many of my friends from elementary school stopped speaking to me because they felt uncomfortable that we had moved to a big house and had a housekeeper. I didn't understand it at the time (and still don't, really, because none of that changed who I was - their friend since we all started Kindergarten together). However, my parents aren't anywhere close to being billionaires.

He has somehow convinced some people that he can relate to them. Trump is so far removed from REAL people's problems that a showerhead can ruin his day. He had no issue with shutting the country down because he was never 2-3 paychecks away from eviction. I don't know if Barron is home-schooled but Trump doesn't have to rely on the school system to keep his kid most of the day so he can go to work. Barron will not go hungry like the kids in families that rely on free breakfasts and lunches. One of my friends works in the cafeteria at one of those of schools and she worked every day straight through the pandemic because those children would not have enough to eat at home. Yeah, we all make fun of the mean lunch lady but I know who is an angel. Howard Stern even commented that he didn't understand Trump supporters as he despises the people that love him the most.

On the other hand, Biden frequently talks about his dad going to work and having humble beginnings. He really is "the average guy" that rose through the ranks. He really does care about the average family. No, he is not as well-practiced as Trump at public speaking and he doesn't fall into random "comedy routines" making fun of people with disabilities or NA heritage. No, he doesn't have his own jets and a gazillion properties but it's clear that he loves this country and the people in it. I'm not a mental health professional but I don't get the impression Trump has ever come close to giving a darn about anybody but himself. His own sister (a judge) and niece (a mental health professional) have spoken out many times and tried to warn us and some people just refuse to hear them.

I have no doubt that Trump would hoard all the gasoline and strike a match to burn this country to the ground before he would ever contemplate the idea of loyalty to our flag (and not just a photo shoot with him molesting one at the podium). Every day I tell myself that I've reached the plateau of how much I can dislike a person and somehow he manages to break through that ceiling.

I really hope he doesn't get any traction on any path to public office again. He won't ever serve a day in prison if convicted but he also doesn't deserve to serve another day as a public official. He'd make it the first order of business to push the nuclear button just to be a jerk.

What makes you think that? Alzheimer's Disease doesn't usually present as self-absorbed, egotistical sociopathy with off-the-charts narcissism.

The same people attacking Trump are steadfast in defending the narcissist Biden and his damage to our country.

Why did Biden take a stand on the so called Tulsa massacre? A lot of white people died during that event. Still it lasted one day and we have seen shooters of our days that killed a hell of a lot more than that event killed. Remember too whites were Democrats in Tulsa at that time and were egged on by one of the local newspapers who printed a salacious tale it could not back up with facts.

Massive election 2020 fraud is being found from forensic audits. Biden never came close as Trump won presidency by millions of real votes. Thousands of illegal and duplicate votes were found in Maricopa County, Arizona alone.

I have to start or burst after reading 10 percent of your screed.
I for one do not relate to the super wealthy Trump. What he spends in one day will support me for the rest of my life if he handed the money to me. What he earns would take care of a good many families.

I do not happen to be jealous of the wealthy.
Trump busted his ass all day long every day for the good of America. He did not shut down pipes only because of the product they carried. Biden killed jobs for workers.
Biden is already taking credit for what Trump did.
Biden thinks what he has done caused our economy to get better. I listened today to an economist explain that what Biden will show up in our future months and years. That our growing economy still belongs to Trump.
Trump was very loyal to we the taxpayers.
Biden does not give a ****.
