    No doubt. The phrase hate crime has become such a joke. When no violence and no damage has been incurred by somebody it's somehow I hate crime.

    Uhhhhnoooo. Even cops previously blatantly racially profiled black people as more criminal, until the government put a stop to that.
    Systemic racism is still a true phenomena. Driving while black is one of the statistics that proves that. It's cultural.
    Right wingers still approve that this is done, and drag in statistics in who the cops end up with arresting.

    As I noted. Rightwingers are all cool with racially profiling, until the racially profiled the wrong person, get caught and than whine around how it can be proven this was indeed about racially profiling. Or either -like now- think being racist is to be neverminded. I wouldn't know why.

    A hate crime for grabbing somebody's arm, which is simple assault, only because the person grabbed was a different race?

    If you support, or even defend this, you are part of the problem.

    I don't think it should be a hate crime. That should require some intent or consciousness of thought. She is an ignorant and self entitled idiot who is likely racist but I doubt she is conscious of it since she is generally dismissive of everyone.

    There really should be additional factors because of her self entitlement, but I guess her ever growing rap sheet should be enough for now.
