Republicans may make Democrats pay for their Cheating Ways

    Democrats have been threatening to force the $3.5 trillion welfare bill via reconciliation, the nuclear option they used to pass Biden's previous spending bill (the one which produced massive inflation).

    Sen. Lindsey Graham suggested that senate Republicans should leave D.C., if Democrats try to ram through a $3.5 trillion infrastructure package.

    Graham said, "I would leave before I'd let that happen. So to my Republican colleagues, we may learn something from our Democrat friends in Texas, when it comes to avoiding a $3.5 trillion tax and spend package, leave town."

    There needs to be a quorum in order for the Senate to get anything done. But if enough Republicans weren't present, then Democrats wouldn't even be able to hold a meeting.

    Excellent strategy. Flip the working man off to side with tax cheats on infrastructure one day then disappear the next to drive the do nothing point home.

    quorum in both chambers is a simple majority otherwise the GOP could fly off to Texas as a dose of Karma

    It seems like Republicans have to use the Democrat's power hungry, evil, politically divisive, and un-American tactics in order to stop their destructive policies from becoming law. November 2022 can't come fast enough for me when Republicans regain majorities in both the Congress and the Senate so as to regain some sanity and some real American progress as we saw during Trump's 4 years in office.

    We heard about the Dems leaving Texas as being cowards and full support for them being arrested upon their return. And now Lindsay thinks its a good idea to act like a cowardly criminal? You go Lindsay!

    The entire fake news media along with veep harris couldn't do enough to praise those 17 Texas lunatic criminals--calling them heroes. So do you think if Lindsey 'turn about is fair play' is forced to have Republicans skip the Dem's reconciliation attempt to pass this destructive $3.5 trillion welfare bill that you'll be saying those 17 Dems acted like cowardly criminals?

    Be precise, what Republican cheating ways? You mentioned Russia. Its the current administration that has re-opened Russia's Nordstream gas pipeline that gives them boucoup bucks by sending it to our European allies.

    All dems need is one senator to not go along with the scheme. It's very doubtful that scheme will happen in the Conservative Senate, who are not as rowdy as Texas libs

    Really? Trump signed a $2 trillion stimulus PLUS giving $1.9 Trillion tax cut to rich folks, adding $3.9 Trillion to the deficits.

    You wanna know how that $3.9 Trillion was financed? Trump fiat currency. See, TheGrateStatan, Biden's fiscal year doesn't begin until Oct 1.
