No, when you are correct in your statements and policies it's not being hypocritical.
It ain't bragging if you can back it up.

What matters is what is true when it is posted.

Yesterday's 'conspiracy theories' sometimes have a nasty habit of becoming today's realities.
    I get your point though.

That may well be fact, but we are discussing twitter's response to her misinformation. You admit it is misinformation. This isn't some leftist ploy to silence people, it is a commitment to ensure that people are not bamboozled by blatantly lying politicians.

That would be fine, if they were no so openly biased in so doing.

Covid deaths are purposely over stated. The real number is 5% of 600k.

Why do :censored: get away with over hyping the virus? Saying 600k have died is a lie.

Here's a bit of wisdom for you, coming from a democrat:

If you want to frame a decent argument, don't predicate it on highly questionable generalities.

It’s obviously biased as hell and of course we are gonna get the “private companies can run it how they like” and I partially agree, however these platforms are now many peoples main source of news so either it gets regulated or it’s a total free for all. Or they have to change the name to put “democrat favored Twitter”. Much like that South Park episode where they officially change the name of veal to “tortured baby cow”

I fully understand the lefty comments about the rights of a private company’s rights and in all honesty, if they were biased to the right I’d be saying the same things they are so let’s just be real

with that being said, Twitter and Facebook are now international superpowers. If they weren’t then the left would have never been so mad about Russian disinformation on these platforms

There really is no point to arguing about this. Of course the left is going to say what they are saying since it’s in their favor and of course we are going to think it’s unfair

Is it now? What party of voters framed the terms: "Right side of history"(this is illogical, history has no side. It's a moment in past time). Or one of my personal favorites that I believed for a long time is that Liberals were the intellectual party. I believed it, until I realized it as an arrogant disposition that blinded me to other possible takes.

The censoring of opposing opinions normally happens in tyrannical countries. Might as well add America to that list.

Is she? I didn't get that. She seems more like an everyday American representing people just like her, not really a fancy tv doctor like Fauci.

Biden claimed that if you get the vaccine you WILL NOT get COVID. That's untrue. Has he been suspended yet?

You know what's ironic? The reason that section 230 was advocated for is to prevent the free exchange of ideas from being hindered. Now, much the same people, and type of people that advocated for section 230 are the ones hindering the free exchange of ideas.

Another censoring of conservative voices - what the big tech companies do best. There's not even the illusion of fairness - they clearly do not apply the rules the same to liberals spreading disinformation.

Do you live in in the area she represents? She is different from where I live but fits better with were I'm from. There is also the social hit jobs vs the real person. And yes normal people sometimes have weird views about random things

You do realize a 'pithy aphorism' isn't necessarily to be taken literally, right? You do realize that when someone says "don't count your chickens before they are hatched' that they are not actually talking about eggs, right?

My, some intellectual you are, tsk tsk.

The "Right side of history" aphorism simply means how historians will write about you, or a position, or a theme, an event with social/political significance when such does go down in history.

Oh, once upon a time, the right had a few fellows, like William F Buckley, to claim the right had intellectuals, too, but they are in short supply, these days, on the right. I suppose one could assert George Will is an intellectual, but, since he doesn't approve of Trump (noting that no legit self-described conservative intellectual approves of Trump ) he's out of favor. Is Kissinger still alive? Hmmmm. Oh, I'm sure there are a few Catholic professors you might ascribe that description to, but who has heard of them?
