Twitter suspends Marjorie Taylor Greene's account for one week

Twitter (TWTR) has suspended Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene's account for one week following another violation of the platform's rules, the company said Tuesday.
Greene tweeted on Monday that the Food and Drug Administration "should not approve the covid vaccines." She also claimed the vaccines were "failing" and that they were ineffective at reducing the virus's spread.
In response, Twitter labeled the tweet as misleading and prevented Greene from tweeting for one week.
The tweet, a company spokesperson said, "was labeled in line with our COVID-19 misleading information policy. The account will be in read-only mode for a week due to repeated violations of the Twitter Rules."

Hopefully, she fails to get the message that her Tinfoil Hat Crap doesn't fly on Twitter,.
Then, when she violates the Rules again, it will be a Perma-Ban.

Who would have imagined that a public company would act like a child and "punish" its customers. It boggles my mind. Even scarier is that people flock to the site. Amazing.

 

You could have your medical license taken away with statements like that.

It's not surprising I recently got a 3-day Facebook ban because someone posted a video of some thieves outside of someone's house late at night and I said someone needs to take a bullwhip to their ass.

 

Oh please. You know damn well that it's a private company that accepted her into it's business and she became an unruly customer. That's it.

She did nothing wrong. She has the right to voice her opinion that the vaccines should not be given full approval. This isn't Nazi Germany. And, she is actually correct that the vaccines are failing to stop the spread of the Delta variant. There is much info coming out now that breakthrough cases are in the range of 40%-60% and that all of the vaccines work in varying degrees as to stopping Delta but, in general, there is a very high percentage of breakthrough cases. Now the vaccines do help stop severe cases, hospitalizations, and deaths but she didn't say anything about that, she merely told the truth.

 

Unruly by stating an inconvenient fact.

 

Twitter is a Private Company.

If you don't follow the Rules, you get banned.

Why is that so hard for some people to understand?

 

Censoring politicians is political. Have you lost your common sense?
