These days folks can identify as anything. I don't know why more white people do not identify as some minority.

 

As I noted earlier you do not seem to understand how society actually works. I am fully aware just because you have black skin does not make you African American. You could be Cuban American, Ethiopian, etc. or not attached to any ethnicity as it seems your case, but the vast majority of blacks in the US are African Americans and they have a long history of struggle against the dominate society. Their color is associated with a difference in treatment in the US. If you removed the skin color issue, making everyone white, it would have made the discrimination of ex-slaves and their descendants more difficult and probably by the 21st century that form of racism would be gone and we'd be on to other races. But that is not how the real world works.

Truth needs to be associated with facts. Statements like "everyone is encouraged to be hyper aware of race" and people are being told "to see themselves foremost by what race they are" are subjective statements and exaggerations not facts.

Race is the recognition that certain populations have physical and genetic similarities due to past social isolation; with that comes very different histories. It being "artificial" is a bit of a stretch.

As for "CRT is bunk". The less one knows the more sure of ones opinion.
