    I’d say take it up with the NIH? That’s where it came from. Link was provided.

    What do you think is incorrect in my post? That ivermectin is an FDA approved drug for human use? That is is used for the items it stated? What?

    While it’s use as a treatment for COVID is not approved, the drug itself is already approved for use in humans. There is also this thing called “off label”. You most likely are either taking one yourself or know someone who is taking a medication “off label”, that’s how prevalent the practice of “off label” use is.

    The bolded: I concur with you on this. Only, there is no proof at all that Invermectin helps with Covid-19. What we DO have are a number of people who are now dead because they took invermectin. Also, the uses of invermectin among humans is extremely limited, to say the least. So, if you have a worm in your body, take invermectin. Covid-19 is not a worm.

    The first bolded: good point. Thanks for making it.

    The second bolded: this is the same hullabulla we heard from some quarters for months on end about Hydroxychloroquine, which is neither a therapeutic nor a cure for Covid-19. And furthermore, if the FDA thought that invermectin showed some promise, they would have made a public statement long before now.

    Sure. Good point. Only, a deadly pandemic is not one of those moments where we should nonly seek to manage and accept risks. In this case, the price is far too high.

    OH Jesus, do we have to ride this merry-go-round again? SRSLY. Just take a moment and think about that. Just because the vaccines are working does not mean that there is no more viral load out there. People, esp. the unvaccinated, can still get infected. Mask-wearing slows the rate and dispersal of aerosols and droplets. It's that simple.
