Before I do, will you acknowledge it when I do, or will you ignore it like most liberals do when facts are presented?

No it isn't. I have a lot of issues with some museums but the purpose of museums is more due to accessibility. The best antiquities are experienced where they were meant to be. Only when that is not possible should we store them in museums and then they should be stored locally.

There could be a rationale for having war figures who had attacked and killed 600,000 Americans.

But these generals should be on their bellies, begging while a group of black troops stuffed cotton into his mouth to commemorate what will happen to traitors to America.

But statues to drug abusing, counterfeit money-passing criminals are cool. Leftists are destroying this country.

Guess I'll take that as: "I really don't have any links." Have a nice day.

The lowest hanging fruit is Obama's racially and religiously bigoted comment about Bitter Clingers. You deny this one?

It's easy to prove you wrong when you can't even admit the basics.

History is full of people that killed and enslave many people. Destroying monuments created contemporary to their time will not bring those people back. Ramses II enslaved and killed more people than we can count. To go and destroy his monuments now would be a crime. Like I said if you do not like this person for his past action do not honor him now but their place in history should not be removed. William Wallace pillaged and killed innocent people and probably was a very bad person in general. His statue is beside Robert the Bruce at Edingburg castle and at Stirling.

How many statues of Democrats do we have, when they've promoted the soft bigotry of low expectations against blacks? When is the Obama statue being removed?

No mention of the word "racist." Krauthammer interpreted his comment on "people that aren't like you" to mean "race." But, he was talking about jobs...bibles and guns.

One does not need to say the word "racist" to be a racist, as Obama so delicately proved.

I really do not know and this should not be a partisan issue. Statues and monuments are our connection to history. To destroy them now is like trying to rewrite history. Columbus did some awful things but I would not advocate removing historical statues of him. I would support not erecting anymore but to destroy the past is crazy. Would people now support tearing down the Columbus monument in Barcelona?

Rewriting history is a time-honored liberal tradition. It's also an Islamic tradition. Leftists an Islam are basically the same.

Why does everything need to be left or right? It should be right or wrong. IMHO destroying historic monuments is wrong. History should be taught not eliminated.

Who is wanting to remove traitors to America?

These traitors cannot be removed from America, but we don't need these traitors to be venerated in parks and buildings as some kinds of heros. And the dead veterans of our war don't need to look down and see these killers on horses posing like heros!

Hey, maybe some group would like to venerate Ho Chi Minh and Võ Nguyên Giáp, the top war general, in our parks to show that war's result?

I really don't know how to start a reply to this? What is the reason for Ho Chi Minh and Võ Nguyên Giáp statues in our parks? The statues we are talking about meant something to the people that erected them. They were a part of their history more than 150 years ago. Are we seriously now worried what the dead will look down at? If that is our standard there is little hope for any monuments anywhere. Certainly there will be dead that resent the people responsible for their death.

They are/were monuments to those who bravely led and in many cases gave the greatest sacrifice to their families, their homes, their farms, their businesses, their schools, their churches, their cities and their states when they were invaded by a hostile army hellbent on their total destruction.

Lincoln and the Congress specifically made it by law none were traitors so why do you falsely portray them? The did not try to overthrow the United States and install a new Government over the United States. All they wanted was to live in peace on their land under the government of their choosing.

And they gave the lives in sacrifice to our states protecting them from an invasion by a foreign military hellbent to destroy everything and kill them.
