Those tests are in a few areas. That does not mean the vaccinated can't get sick just as easily and in some states in America they are reporting the vaccinated are getting sick at high rates and we have had threads on this here at PF.

Yeah show me one that isn't misinterpreted. It does mean that the vaccinated don't get sick as easily. It's not about the vaccinated never getting sick with delta, it's about less. Conservatives on here pointed to the viral load study that involved only symptomatic people. A better design is to include asymptomatic people as well, because the vaccinated are more likely to be asymptomatic. The relevant question isn't whether symptomatic people have a high viral load regardless of vaccination status (no duh, pointless study). The question is if the vaccination decreases spread either by preventing infection or making it less likely to spread with a lower viral load. The UK study shows that it does reduce viral load on average.

 

Correct. Just today I got 35 high quality American-made N95's in the mail. Three days ago I got 20. I can get as many as I want. During the first peak of the pandemic I had to upload my medical license to be allowed to purchase these masks. These days and for several months already, no longer. There is no shortage I can see, right now. Actually I'd risk the hypothesis that it's the opposite: there are fewer people trying to buy them than the available stocks. How do I know? Because prices have been dropping. Basic market law. I conclude that there is overstock.

 

Agreed. US manufactures are going bankrupt because nobody will buy the masks everyone said we so desperately needed when the pandemic started. Now everyone has been told N95s are inferior for so long it’s nearly impossible to change their minds with facts.
