That is, you cannot refute the words of a person, but you assure everyone that a person spreads lies and propaganda? :roflol::roflol::roflol:

As a liberal, you think all bad news is false. Liberals, in their lollipop and unicorn world, cannot deal with real world bad news. And that's sad. By the way, I spent decades in uniform defending America back when Russia and communism was the enemy. Now that liberals embrace socialism/communism, I'm still glad I defended the nation against communism. I like to think I at least delayed the onslaught of the liberals and socialism/communism for awhile.

The Arabs have a good saying - you can repeat the word "halva" a lot, but this does not make your mouth sweeter.
You also, like that Arab, repeat pseudo patriotic slogans, but this does not make life better.

    Never.

The Republicans learned a valuable political lesson from Ronald Reagan. Dick Cheney said it out loud. “Deficits don’t matter”.

I like Texas too. But I have no illusions about it being “independent” economically.

Texas has been a receiver state for most of the last century. It is totally dependent on petroleum exports to the 49 states.

Crony capitalism created a rickety electric power grid, whose collapse in February contributed to higher gas prices and continuing shortages of thousand of products made with petrochemicals.

Not everyone is happy with Texas’ current regressive social polices either.

Not until after Ted Cruz stages another mock filibuster against raising it. That was his schtick ten years ago. At one point, he brought the US to the edge of default.

I wouldn’t put it past him to do that again.

It would be a political mistake. And it would open up a serious discussion and possibly action on bringing back the talking filibuster.

I agree with you. There is a problem. But there are problems everywhere. In my opinion, Texas is the best choice.

Texas has a lot more than oil... it has beef, lots of other food... and high tech. L-3 is HQ'd here... one of the defense "Big Six". Bell Helicopter Textron is here. Did you know F-16's were made here?

"rickety Power grid"... LOL. One storm... ONE... caused some problems. But just like Antarctica doesn't invest a lot in drought planning, we don't worry about snow much. I have lived here for five years and only seen snow once. The first time it snowed at 9 AM and it was melted by 11 AM. I would suggest tat California has more power outages in any given week that Texas has in any given year,

Texas pays a lot more than it receives. Mismanaged states like California get lots of federal funds to bail them out. Giving away freebies to illegal and supporting massive unfunded pension funds require federal help. Those funds come from states like Texas whose federal income taxes are high due to Democrat mismanagement at the state level.

Regressive social practices? LOLOL.... you mean like requiring ID to vote? Yeah... ok... you run with that... LOL.

If McConnell has Republicans in the Senate vote against raising the debt limit and crashes the economy, next year's mid-terms will be the last election for the Republican Party.

Democrats borrow, borrow and borrow. Do you really believe that acquiring more and more debt is the key to prosperity? Do you run your own family that way? The key is to stop offereing free welfare, medical, education, etc to everyone and their brother, including the hundreds of thousands/millions of illegals streaming into our country.

You seem to think that debt is the key to prosperity. That is so patently ridiculous I really don't know what else to say.

Tax cuts without spending cuts are also a form of "borrowing." We're going to have to cut spending and raise taxes to return to fiscal sanity. However, the pandemic has created an emergency situation, wherein - for the moment - the emphasis is going to have to be on government spending. Failing to acknowledge this by refusing to raise the debt ceiling is fiscal insanity and bound to lead to an economic crash, for which the Republicans will be justly blamed.

Get rid of the Obedience Mask tyranny, open schools, opens shops and stores, beaches and all the rest. Let America get back to work and we'll see prosperity in no time. That strategy works fine here.

But I realize that kids may no longer know how to be students after so long out of school in blue states. That's a problem. And I'm seeing a reluctance to go back to work in blue states after getting free money for so long. That's a problem too.

Unless we defeat the pandemic, more people will die. Defeating it means vaccinations and masks.

The consensus of medical experts says differently. I'll go with that.

Yeah... Fauci said so on Thursday! But on Friday he said just the opposite! And last week he said something totally different!

    And "science" grand!

Where is that consensus came from?
There is no scientific consensus has been presented yet.
CDC is a political organization it has not relationship to scientific research.
Masks have zero effect on prevention
    https://journals.asm.org/doi/10.1128/mSphere.00637-20

There is no proof that vaccines help other then stimulate body.
You can clearly see zero relationship between vaccination, infection rate and death rate

You're putting out false information. You should be reported, arrested and prosecuted.
