After Manafort was convicted of 8 felonies in Virginia, he agreed to plead guilty to all counts in the second trial in DC which involved several counts of acting as a foreign agent and other crimes against America. He then agreed to cooperate with the Mueller investigation regarding his ties to foreign governments as the chairman of the Trump Campaign. Shortly thereafter, Mueller’s investigators found that Manafort and his attorneys were lying and consorting with Trumps lawyers who were basically telling him to clam up and they guaranteed a pardon which would get him out before any plea deal....And voila! He got out! Stone stonewalled the investigation threatened and tampered with witnesses, lied to investigators and refused to cooperate with the Russian meddling investigation, was easily convicted on several felony counts then, voila! He never spent a day in prison...Pretty amazing!!!

I am not well versed in writing legal documents but I am sure that several Congressmen are. Such a Bill could easily be crafted and in the wake of the abuse and corruption regarding the pardon power by Trump, such a bill should obviously be written and passed ASAP.

Well, there is another variable that's never been widely reported or linked directly to Trump, Manafort & Russian/Ukraine oligarchs. Ukraine was initially cooperating fully with the Mueller investigation, payoffs to Manafort ,etc. This stopped in it's tracks when Trump agreed to arm the Ukraine with the tank (?) buster defensive weapons. I don't remember the exact timeline anymore but it did line up at the time. That killed the leverage Mueller's team had on Manafort.

Amazing conflagration of nonsense. Manafort was busted for stuff that happened more than a decade before he came to team Trump has he or worked however briefly for team Trump he would have never been investigated. There is almost no one in DC who hasn't done most of the stuff Manafort was charged with at one time or the other. You're only charged if you work for outsiders.

Your current problems are the Biden crime syndicate. Both deep in crime. Extortion by Joe against Ukraine and his whore mongering son with China for the Big Guy. Figure out who Big Guy is.

Nunes was a massive leaker and traitor. Holder was not going to give classified material to that bunch of hacks under any circumstances. Fast and furious was a sting operation which was set up under the Cheney/Bush regime. Holder was right.

Perhaps someday a congressional committee will investigate. One thing is for sure, Trumps DOJ was in power for 4 years and did NOT prosecute either Biden. Trump was public ally begging Barr to arrest them before the election but even Barr, lackey that he was refused to prosecute. Reason: No evidence of a crime. As usual, you are just blowing it out your ass. Get back to us if and when arrests and charges are filed. Until then, all your accusations are just hot smelly air.

Holder proves one can be charged by congress but the Judge will not approve said charge.

At least there are a lot of great Americans looking into his corrupt world now. Soon we may get to witness the greatest act in American history since the moon landing in 1969. Trump and his 3 brats in Orange jumpsuits being loaded into a windowless white van heading for Sing Sing....The celebrations in the streets all over America and the world will be monumental! Like November 7th last year times 10....Praise Jesus!!!

Trump has been hated since he was a brat kid. He didn’t need Obama or anyone else to gin up anything. He was a little prick right out of the womb...I have never experienced such elation as on November 7, 2020. I was on 57th Street between 9th and Broadway in NYC, Trump’s home town. At about 11:30 AM the great city exploded in joy and merriment. All the Avenues of New York instantly turned into joyful parades...I got in my car and drove down 7th Ave and up 6th Ave for hours with cheering elated crowds on both sides of the Aves. It was a proud moment to be an American...I can tell you that!!

I'm simply saying if your bill is found unconstitutional, which it is, it becomes moot, null, and void.

Recall Manafort was investigated by the FBI, for a time under Mueller, back in the days the so-called wrong doing was taking place, and the FBI concluded at that time there was no there there.

Here's a message from Mars proving you wrong..........once again.

Mueller hits Manafort with new obstruction of justice charges

Special counsel Robert Mueller’s office obtained a new indictment Friday against former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort, adding a pair of charges that he and a longtime aide alleged to have ties to Russian intelligence, Konstantin Kilimnik, obstructed justice by attempting to tamper with witnesses.

The new criminal charges — the first public ones against Kilimnik — track with allegations Mueller’s team leveled earlier this week that Manafort and an associate tried to influence the testimony of two men involved in a public relations campaign several years ago to buff up the image of Ukraine and its president at the time, Viktor Yanukovych.

This is like shooting ducks in a barrel.

Manafort was interviewed twice because of his association with a corrupt Ukrainian political party. An association that would have precluded him being hired to be the campaign manager for any other candidate but Vlad's best bud. Ultimately it was his Ukrainian ties that led him to resign once the illegal payments he received came to light.

I know what you're thinking Rod. You're wondering how it could be that you get everything wrong. Perhaps it's time to consider the sources of information you use are deceiving you. Just like the rest of the conservatives on this board who are being deceived. You are not alone.

None of which were ever tried and are thus unproven.
