I don’t think I had a choice but it’s just what feels right to apologize when racists come out and attack. Tell them that’s not all of us and assure we’re actively working on putting people away who are like that. Whether that’s in jail or on an island somewhere away from the rest of us.

 

I think it’s a bit silly to view things in terms of race. Culture is more important to me. You can be an African raised in Japan and feel more at home in Tokyo than in Nairobi.
