    WRONG...

Anybody who thinks tnat anybody "admitted" anything, is either egregiously misinformed, didn't read the letter, or (if they read the letter) FAILED to understand it.

You cheered Fauci on and gave him even more accolades when he went against Trump. He's always been an establishment hack making him your guy.

This ridiculous attempt of yours when he was the head of NIH to for Trump to have omitted him would have been met with cries by people like you. In fact, when we were calling for that little murderous bastard to be fired, you were screaming your support for him.

That probably looks about right for most Leftists when we wanted to axe Fauci.

    Yes I did .

But a letter from the NIH to Ranking Member Rep. James Comer of the House Committee on Oversight and Reform Wednesday admitted to a "limited experiment" was conducted in order to test if "spike proteins from naturally occurring bat coronaviruses circulating in China were capable of binding to the human ACE2 receptor in a mouse model" – contradicting Fauci’s previous claims.

NIH acknowledges US funded gain-of-function at Wuhan lab, despite Fauci’s denials | Fox News

The National Institutes of Health is now admitting to funding gain-of-function research on bats infected with coronaviruses at a lab in Wuhan, China despite repeated denials from Dr. Anthony Fauci that U.S. tax dollars were used on the funding.

I have tried to read the letter but it won't enlarge and I am nearly blind lol, I did read all the links and I believe he is Dr. Fauci is not believable and has not told everything

    Huh?

So, now (according to you) "Leftists" are "morons"?: smh:

Next time, if possible (even though this may be a stretch--given your propensity to call your political opponents "morons") could you try to express your difference of opinion without engaging in egregious group insults?
    Thx in advance.:salute:

Well, you really can't expect active science deniers to grasp the finer points of science, after all...

    Exactly.

Even expecting them to read the letter (and actually understand the implications of the letter that they are commenting on) is (apparently, based on the misinformed comments in this thread) a stretch.

    Me neither.

But, apparently, some of the RWs (in this thread) have followed every step of his career since he graduated Med School.

Just because you are not informed about how bad he did during the AIDS epidemic and since, doesn't mean everyone else is that out of touch.

The first sentence you say yes you read the letter, the last sentence says no you didn’t read the letter. What you wrote in your first paragraph, is not gain of function.

What errors did Fauci make? Can you specify your claim?

That is exactly the kind of conditions that we deal with now during the pandemic. Now, they claim it's not this strand that's causing the pandemic. That to me doesn't absolve anything, because the very next obvious question is: How many strands have you(the NIH) done during these what should be illicit 'research' activities? If we were to do a basic RNA comparison of every strand of the lab, with the strand "known" to cause CV-19, would we find a match? I have a sneaking suspicion, that yes we would find a match.

And upon said finding, we should terminate all connections to the lab, immediately.

The articles is a fabrication. The letter in no way admits funding GOF.

As a key point to remember: The Chinese government specifically came out and outed the Americans for the origins of the Coronavirus(or SARS-COV-2). Since half of our country is unwilling or unable to investigate this claim for what it is, we have to give even the plausibility of doubt to the Chinese especially considering they managed to control the pandemic much better than we did(albeit with their usual controlling methods.)

Anyone paying attention during the AIDS epidemic knew who this little bastard was... and how completely he blew his job focusing on vaccines and not therapeutics. Well... history repeats itself, but this time he is the cause of the whole event.

Seriously dude... not every thread is about Trump. I know you want that to be the case, but you need to move on.

It's stupidly simple what they have to do is to prove the claim false: They have the genome data for covid-19, and I'm not an idiot to presume that the strand in the letter in question is the ONLY strand they well, if they don't want to use the word "created", let's use "augmented". They had to have augmented more than one strand because what if the strand is lost or destroyed? Then the whole damn experiment ends. So no, they had more than one. Probably a dozen at least.

Test the known cv-19 genome against all augmentations done by the NIH lab, then we'll know for a fact.

If only we could hold Congressmen accountable for their statements.

    https://www.yahoo.com/gma/pediatric-vaccines-very-likely-available-134200459.html
...unequivocally anybody that knows anything about viral biology and phylogeny of viruses know that it is molecularly impossible for those viruses that were worked on to turn into SARS-CoV-2 because they were distant enough molecularly that no matter what you did to them, they could never, ever become SARS-CoV-2," Fauci explained.

NIH director Francis S. Collins is simultaneously pushing back against critics of his agency and people who he believes are spreading misinformation about the experiment in Wuhan to score political points.
