    Sorry, this data is almost 3 MONTHS OLD:

    About 40% of Black people and 45% of Latinos have been at least partially vaccinated as of Aug. 16,

    Here is your utterly misguided "claim":

    . I claimed 65% of blacks and Latinos don't want it

    So, even if we use the above link:

    "About 40% of Black people and 45% of Latinos have been at least partially vaccinated"

    That would mean that (at most, assuming that one can do simple math) 60% of Blacks and 55% of Latinos are unvaccinated. And, that was about 3 Months Ago.

    So, not only is that data (that you are misguidedly attempting to use to "prove" your claim) about 3 months out-of-date, BUT, it also completely debunks your misguided claim.

    Thank you for furnishing PF the Proof that your "claim" was WRONG!

    It looks like there is someone in the Biden Administration who is able to look past feel good mandates and see that there are real life consequences to virtue signaling mandates:

    The labor secretary just announced that most truckers will be exempt from the mandate. So let me see if I got this straight; Covid will kill you dead and there is a national health and safety need to force everyone to get a vaccine, whether there is a medical need or not or if the vaccine will cause more harm to those who have auto-immune disorders. That national health and safety need is significantly less important than the political fallout that would happen if the American people did not get their Christmas presents on time. If the Covid emergency is less important than Christmas gifts, then why didn't the administration think about that before they issued a bunch of silly mandates.

    the rules "exempts employees who exclusively work outdoors or remotely and have minimal contact with others indoors"

    not just truckers

    but we all know the mandate is really just to get people on the fence to just get it, the rule has no real teeth, it will never be enforced

    after Jan 4th, things get back to normal and if the unvaccinated have issues, that is on them after that, we can't protect everyone from themselves
