    all kidding aside. I think these vials should be destroyed. We don’t need this disease to be tucked away anywhere, that’s including in the two places it’s currently allowed.

    as for this place having it? Definitely needs to be investigated and some punishment handed down to someone.

    It happens. Six vials were found in 2014 in an FDA lab that were not supposed to be there.

    I recall that they wanted to save some vials of Smallpox for future reference, but they shouldn't. It's too dangerous. It's a very frightening disease. My mother said that when someone died of smallpox and the funeral procession went by, everyone closed their shutters.

    I saw a woman once from Asia Minor whose face was 'pocked' and it was like a sponge. I wouldn't wish that on my worse enemy.

    Not anymore. They stopped vaccinating in 1972. One of the reasons why it's so scary. Most people aren't vaccinated for it.
