How many people tried to kill Kyle? Let me see if I can guess!

Do you have a point? The video proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that no crime was committed by Rittenhouse. The prosecutor had to resort to slimy tactics just to try to put together some semblance of a case. Not sure what problem you have with the verdict.

Do we know that is what would have happened?

I understand if the other kids don't want him around in-person and I understand some parents dont want him there, but to complain about on-line classes it not justified.

Yes, initially I didn't know that, but learned it later. However, it seems he wants to go in person as well. Maybe an arrangement can be made for him.

That's too funny! It's an on-line class. The only thing getting murdered on-line is Rittenhouse's reputation.

Do you need to know for certainty that your attacker will kill you before you can defend yourself?

Doesn’t matter - he is a Walter Mitty character and they cause all kinds of issues in the medical profession

I think it was the wrong outcome, as happens many times in America when dealing with juries... I'm not remotely alone...

However, I accept it and am willing to move on, legally... you seem to want to get people (like me) to change our minds over something neither of us can remotely control.... Seems like a waste of your time, but I can't stop you..... so fire away...

    Oooops..... too soon???

    Usually yes!

Here, and in other parts of the world, self defence must be appropriate to the perceived threat. The very fact he was armed changes the balance of power to make him the aggressor - especially since his “attacker” was not armed

But at best Kyle is a Walter Mitty character and they will never walk an easy life

Lefty has a history of drunk driving, so perhaps you should "fear meeting on the street".

Well, that's my point, I don't think they are complaining about his on-line classes per se... I think that's the spin factor.... He's on record as saying he's registered there and plans on attending in person someday. If the protest does nothing except keep him attending online, I'm sure that would be mostly satisfactory to the protestors... if not, then I'm right with ya...

Phil Mickelson has that history?? I didn't know... He still slams it a mile, so it can't be debilitating...

Also, he's damn entertaining on golf broadcasts, for when he hangs em up... I hope it's not the liquor talking...

How many people without ARs did they chase or attack?

I disagree. Something going wrong would have been if Pedo or the Antifa mob had killed / maimed Kyle. Kyle defending himself successfully was a case of things turning out well.

Yes. Stupid people think other people should be stupid too and let themselves get killed before trying to defend themselves. It’s astounding. One benefit is, less stupid people:)

Everyone dumb enough to attack a guy with a rifle got shot. I mean, who could predict such a thing?

Well, perhaps the parents of the underaged girl he reportedly paid for sex? Or anybody who has ever been forced to listen to him on the House floor?

    But we digress....

I don't know where "Here" is, but in Wisconsin, and in most states in the Union, merely being armed does not magically "make him the aggressor". You can, and people regularly do, shoot "unarmed" attackers. It's also worth repeating that 2 out of the 3 men who earned their gunshot wounds that night were indeed "armed", one with a handgun and one with a skateboard.

Kyle was found Not Guilty. Legally that means he has the same rights as anyone else. You don't get to deny someone else their rights just because you don't like them or out of irrational fears. Since he is already enrolled I would say it would be a pretty big civil rights issue for the university to not allow him on campus. Remember, those who don't want him there have a choice to go somewhere else.

That is absurd, you can't possibly know if someone initiating an attack will kill you.

I had initially defended Rittenhouse, but truth be told, it is starting to look to me that those 2 armed guys were responding to Rittenhouse shooting someone who was "armed" with nothing more than a bag of clothes. That person was chasing him, so there is a defense to be made there, but it is worth noting.

That said, Rittenhouse was offering EMT services beforehand, so good on him for that. But the people claiming that this is a violation of his Constitutional rights are Constitutionally illiterate. The Constitution does not require a guilty verdict for a school to expel you.
