yeah, jail opponents, mob like mentality. Russia collusion - hoax

I was just thinking. Donald Trump has to be the cleanest human being ever... The DOJ/FBI was weaponized against him. DAs all over the US are anti-Trumpers and they don't hide it. Congressional investigations non-stop. Heck, with so many powerful entities trying to get him and none have succeeded, he must be cleanest human in the planet. Squeaky clean! amazing

The people who should be in jail are Hilary Clinton who destroyed classified information and Hunter Biden, who is as corrupt as any human can be and junky.

I respectfully disagree.. I remember a day when Obama was claiming """I'm proud of the fact with two weeks to go, we are probably the first administration in modern history that has not had a major scandal in the White House.""" and that clown walked out of the oval orifice with not a speck of dirt on him..

A meaningful percentage of them are already rich. It is about power.

One needs money to run for US congress or prez office.
The 2 political parties do their darndest to filter money where they feel it benefits those elites and their own party(s).

There's no doubt 1/6/21 was set up to rile up a mob.
What the actual end game was to be is up for speculation.

But the lead up to it was to 'stop the steal'.

An almost unmeasurably tiny part of the cost of government. If you want to see the problems look at the bills that go into the trillions.

President Trump again!! I did notice there’s not many threads on here about obama. It’s threads like these that keep President Trump relevant.

Yes .. there is absolutely no doubt that the intent of speaking to a group of supporters ...who are wanting to - or engaging in protest - is to rile up the mob.

No doubt about that one on my part. not much on the intent part of the equation either. The intent in this case was to increase attention and support for the election fraud movement .. and to march on the Capitol to complain..

and Yes .. the lead up was "Stop the Steal" and many other slogans .. common to every protest .. stating cause for being upset and so on.

That about it ? .. no further comment on my end as .. thus far we are in complete agreement.

Of course I read it. You responded to me after all. Your whole post is nothing more than assumptions. You have no factual basis to back up any of it. I get that you believe what you spout off. But just because you believe it doesn't mean that its backed up by any facts.

Disingenuous argument. You are conflating riots, which are what is being talked about, with protests. And you're doing it to try and ignore the riots in order to pretend that they're not as bad as what happened on 1/6. NO ONE is trying to conflate a protest, ANY protest, with what happened on 1/6. And you KNOW that. What IS being compared with 1/6 is the RIOTS. You know, where billions upon billions of dollars was done in damage to property. Where people were injured and killed.

Again...NO ONE is talking about PEACEFUL PROTESTS in relation to 1/6. They are talking about the RIOTS. Stop being disingenuous.

Your response was like you had never seen what I was referring to.

Do you believe since the January 6th insurrection failed Donald Judas tRump is exonerated.

You may not believe the 2020 presidential election was stolen from trump, but for arguments sake, wouldn't it make sense that while rigging the outcome of the presidential part, rigging the outcomes of the Senate and House would be done too? At this point if you don't think DJt is exonerated I'm not sure what your beef with my post is, other than you apparently enjoy conflict. What facts have you backed up, btw, I don't see any. So we're arguing opinion against opinion; I like mine. 8) Especially my "opinion" that "Benedict Donald is a clear and present danger to Government by the People.

    What about a stable genius?

Hey, but let's be honest. Trump didn't even expect to win 2016. He was just in it for the Grift and a bit of fun.

But then he discovered that he had an amazing gift, thanks to his prior TV performances: the ability to connect with slack-jawed, racist morons. Add to that to the Dems were stupid enough to run Clinton, and that secured enough moderate votes...

The majority of the bills are a result of the bribe money each campaign gets to run for office.
Which is why we the people often feel forgotten and don't understand why they pass those bills.

Obama threads went on for close to 4 yrs while trump was president.
Things a prez does, doesn't end the day the next president is inaugurated.
Often thigs a prez does can last for decades. People still talk about FDR once in a while.

I disagree with one thing you stated.
I don't think just to complain was the idea. It may have been to try and somehow convince Pence to halt the election process. Riling a mob of people rarely gets limited to just complaining. If ever.
And I don't think there was much concern if some violence occurred. Hence why it was hours before trump went public to tone it down.

Never said riling a mob was just to complain ? .. but what else did you have in mind ? and we are not talking after the fact .. thats cheating.

What did he do/say prior to incite the mob to do what other than complain..

Your 1st sentence suggest intent to rile up a mob. I agree.
And in sentence 2 you said it was so they would march to the capital to complain. So perhaps I took those sentence meanings wrong?

What else did I have in mind? You mean the reason for riling up a mob?
To me, anytime one riles up a mob is to get the mob to engage very emotionally against the thing the mob has gathered for.
So my belief is there was a hope, by what ever means would be needed, was to halt the election process congress was doing.

One can read the transcripts of trump speech that day.
Fight was used 23 times in his speech. Along with stolen. Take our country back.
And then Bannon and others were using much the same tone prior to 1/6.
I haven't read the words Bannon said, I think it was on his podcast?
But it had even more rhetoric than trumps. From the little I've seen.

Trump is not in jail because he has not been convicted of a crime. He hasn't even been indicted. And it has not been for lck of trying.

So, they were just attending a party?
Not to stop the steal and halt the election process.

Why did they over run the Capital police?
