Twitter bans sharing photos, video of people without their consent

Twitter on Tuesday banned the sharing of photos and videos of private individuals without their consent, the company said in a blog post. The update to its private information policy notes that people can contact the microblogging platform to have such media removed.

The ban doesn't apply to public figures if the media and tweet are of public interest, but content featuring those people may be removed if the site determines it's been shared "to harass, intimidate, or use fear to silence them."

Well, my last Twitter thread was deleted, so I have to start a new one. I don't think the Moderators that deleted actually realized that the content was from multiple sources and I did not copy paste an entire article, but added a local news report... well anyways... it's gone.

So, now they are targeting Citizen Journalists like Andy Ngo. That is the real intent here and everyone knows it. People like Andy or Project Veritas will be run off.


Additionally, here is a quote from the new Twitter Policy:

“The misuse of private media can affect everyone, but can have a disproportionate effect on women, activists, dissidents, and members of minority communities.”

Why don't they just say they hate White People?
