    Check THIS Out:

Oxford school officials met with suspect day before, day of shooting to discuss behavior
    Lily AltavenaDave Boucher
    Detroit Free Press

Oxford HS Officials met with the 15-year-old suspected of killing four students and wounding seven others the day before and the morning of the shooting to discuss his behavior, Oakland County Sherriff Michael Bouchard confirmed Wednesday.
The sheriff's office said it was unaware of these meetings or any concerning behavior by the suspected shooter until after the shooting.
"We have since learned that the schools did have contact with the student the day before and the day of the shooting for behavior in the classroom that they felt was concerning," Bouchard said during a news conference.
"In fact, the parents were brought in the morning of the shooting and had a face-to-face meeting with the school. The content of that meeting obviously is part of the investigation."

Don't you just love how DUI laws prevent drunks from hopping in a vehicle and killing whoever they want?

The only two examples you need for how gun control doesn't work are Detroit and Chicago. They have some of the strictest gun laws in the country, and both of them are violent, crime-filled shitholes with shootings every single day. It's also no coincidence that the vast majority of cities in the top ten most violent are ran by Democrats...

Looks like this one is on the school for not reporting it to law enforcement. The parents of the dead and injured should sue the ever loving **** out of that school...

Unfortunately, there are no behavioral tests that will give a yes or no answer as to whether someone will become a mass shooter or not.

On the other hand, the father didn't prevent access to the gun, even after knowing that there were behavioral problems. If I was a parent of one of the deceased, that's where I would look for blame. The gun was just bought 5 days prior. Anyone who is not wondering about this correlation? The truth is, if the father hadn't bought the gun, there would be a lot less lives destroyed that day.

And thank you for admitting you'd been wrong and simply moving on with new knowledge. So many people take it personally.

Any M16 or M4 clone can be set up with a cyclic rate capable of firing 80 rounds in 5 seconds. Shouldn’t be much trouble hitting 50 people in that time frame in a crowd.

Which would require you to have a 100-round drum magazine. Good luck walking around with that and no one noticing...

Meanwhile, anyone that wants to can swerve into you on your daily commute, hit you head on, for any or no reason at all, and there's not a damn thing you can do about it. Yet we don't call for banning vehicles...

According to the atf if you have a shoestring tied a certain way you have a machinegun.
If you twist a coat hanger right you have a drop in auto sear for any AR.
You can gather all the parts needed to bang together an open bolt sub machine gun wandering around a hardware store ffs.

Firearms are stupid simple machines and unless you're going to confiscate all metals and hand tools you're never going to be able to stop someone who wants to from having one. Let it go prohibitionist.

Good luck walking around with any carbine or rifle without anyone noticing. All still more compact than a Ford SUV. :)

It's all responsibility and patriotism - until the responsible gun owner has a bad hair day.

Are you saying this KID is a hard core CRIMINAL?? Seems his parents gave him the weapon . I don't yet know the back story to that decision...........but one might question how responsible those parents were/are. But then the weapons culture is firmly established / entrenched now.............so we have to expect these "incidents" as routine. Weapons are very important in and to this country.......... and it is awash with them.

In many ways weapons define this country....... so forget making any changes to the "laws" (such as they are)........ as they would be usurped ;anyhow.

what makes this worse....is that the kid was troubled.........and the parents brought a weapon in into the household anyhow.

Bottom line: t is pointless to even consider alternate laws or solutions when it comes to weapons...........as nothing will change.........except a society will just get even more dangerous.

It is what it is... Young kids are killed. terrorized . Lives are changed Par for the course.

How long before kids will have to carry weapons to " protect themselves"..........in a society like this?? At what tender age will they have to be taught how to handle a weapon??

More helpless sheep = More Armed Predators

Why dismiss a source that revealed that 4 years after the 96 gun ban crime including gun crime soared?

Is gun control supposed to have eventually worked to curb violent crime. Surely you know better by now.

    More of the inconvenient truth:

"The rise in crime in England and Wales is accelerating, according to police figures, which show a 14% year-on-year increase in offences recorded by forces across England and Wales.

Knife crime has gone up even more steeply, by 21% in the 12 months to September, and gun crime has risen by 20%, according to quarterly figures released on Thursday."
THE GUARDIAN, Rise in recorded crime is accelerating in England and Wales Police figures show offences up 14% in a year, with knife and gun crime rising even more steeply, Alan Travis Home affairs editor, Thu 25 Jan 2018.

IOW you admit that gun crime has soared since the gun ban - or do you think The Guardian made it all up?

    How about Reuters? ;-)

EWN/Reuters, 'VIOLENT SCOURGE' ON LONDON STREETS AS MURDER FIGURES OVERTAKE NEW YORK, A 17-year-old girl died after she was found with gunshot wounds in Tottenham, north London, and a man was fatally stabbed in south London on Sunday., 4/3/18.

I read that the prosecutor was looking into possibly charging the parents and in this case, I say: Go for it. The father purchased the gun, they were aware of the son's violent tendencies and yet the gun was still in the minor's possession. If an adult handed a child the keys to the car and vehicular manslaughter happened, would there be a question about prosecution?

Prosecute the living hell out of these two to send a message as it relates to responsible gun ownership.

From what the police have discovered this was not spur of the moment killings he had thought and planned killing fellow students for a while. His mother wrote quite a letter to Trump congratulating him on being elected where she also reveals quite a bit about herself. It is currently available online.

Yes, "It is what it is" -- system failure. Armed security is needed on every floor of our schools.
It is easier for a killer kid who wants a gun to get one than it is to get a pizza -- even in nations with gun bans.
There is no "gun culture" in America. Americans own guns primarily for self defense against violent criminals in and out of government.
