Certainly there is nothing "unintelligible" about "peaceful protest", I'm not arguing that with you. But, when you focus on 3 seconds of a morning of divisive anger and hate, that's obfuscation.

How about pointing out that this is a duplicate thread?

 

Intimidating the Supreme Court's decision making by threatening an insurrection if they decide "wrong" isn't a threat to our democracy?

 

However the word 'insurrection' didn't occur in her statements - at least I couldn't find any examples.

And really, do you think the Supreme Court feels 'threatened'? I'm thinking Amy and Brett and Gorsuch might be feeling a little pressure to do what they were put in the seat to do, but I hardly think they feel 'threatened'.

And while we're talking about feeling 'threatened', do you feel the same outrage for the election officials who's lives have been threatened?

 

That's just it. Both Trump and Bernie said somewhat similar things and some people took what they said too far. That does not make either Bernie or Trump guilty of instigating bad behavior. But, House Republicans did not do a witch hunt against Bernie and yet House Democrats are doing a witch hunt against Trump.

 

According to you guys, calling for an insurrection should be punished and yet you let Bernie get away with it, you let this Senator get away with it, you let summer long rioters get away with it, but you don't let Trump get away with it. It shows the raging hypocrisy. Bernie's supporter attempted a coup by trying to kill Republicans, threatening our Democracy. The summer rioters tried to storm a federal court, and took over swaths of US territory, turning them into lawless zones, and committed many acts of thuggery and yet the left referred to all of this mayhem as "mostly peaceful protesters".

I accept your admission that the left have been guilty for over four years of the very same thing you now claim the right are doing.

 

Thank you. If you go back to my first post, I asked you to quote where the words 'insurrection' or 'threat to democracy' was used. You could have saved yourself a lot of time if you'd just answered directly. Mind you, this wasn't direct, but it was a concession. And that will have to do.

There are protestors (on both sides of the aisle btw) who I think are trying to intimidate the court. I hope they stay peaceful.

 

This whole thread is about the hypocrisy of the left. Trump did nothing more than what this lady Senator did and yet the left investigate Trump for insurrection when he did nothing more than what this lady has done. Why the hyprocrisy? Why aren't they investigating this lady for instigating an insurrection against our democracy?

Come the midterms, the shoe will be on the other foot and Republicans will not forget. Everyone will be investigated. Both Biden and Harris will be impeached, and maybe there will be some impeachments of former Democratic presidents, since the left have set the precedent that you can impeach past presidents. Trump can be appointed Speaker of the House without even holding an office and then we can work on removing both Biden and Harris, making Trump president (not that that is what I want).

The Republican House will use their "oversight" powers just as the Democrats have done, maybe worse. All they will need in the House is a vote of 218-217 and they will be able to abuse their power in any way they see fit and it will be legal. Then we are going to go about seeing if we can eliminate the filibuster, add red states to the union, and add more seats on to the Supreme Court while also making a law that no more seats can be added, ever.

I hate to see it but Democrats deserve to be given a taste of their very own medicine.
