We? No, YOU worry about it (or do not worry about it) only when it suits your political agenda. Please do not project that kind of mindset on normal people.

Most people who do not have an agenda worry about a massive increase in mortality.

Hear disease it not ignored. If there was a vaccine against it I can guarantee it that you'd spare no argument to oppose it if your party took that stance. If your party raved against heart meds and surgeries, you would do the same. That's how people like you operate.

Covid is left vs right issue for you ONLY because your party has taken that stance. Last year your party was all for the vaccine and bragging about how they were fast-tracking it, and now they oppose it to tooth and nail.

You are toting the narrative. It's not projection, but a reality.

Its nothing short of absurd to claim that people worry about 800 000 dead only because of narrative. Absurd.

What you are doing is a text book example of psychological projection. What you say is obviously how you feel, and you project that on others assuming everyone feels the same way. Guess what, most people are not partisan hacks who ignore 800 000 dead Americans. When 3000 Americans died in 9-11 we said "never forget", but now that 800 000 are dead, and more are dying, you say "forget about it, its all BS, - who cares".

    Absurd.

Ignoring personal responsibility entirely. Vaccines are wonderful for people who want them. If you are arguing that one person declining to take the vaccine poses a risk to a vaccinated person, then the vaccine doesn't work. And when you say anti-vax I think you really mean anti-mandate. Very few people are against the vaccine (and vaccines in general).

Yes, you got it backwards, and even on the video biden says he would take it if the medical community encouraged it, which they do.

And yes, Republicans were very much for it, until Biden won, and now they are against it, and of course their loyalists follow course.

I would highly disagree. There were many that were reluctant of experimental vaccine that has never been tested before in this capacity and had limited long term data on it's efficacy. I, nor many what you so called "Trumpers" have towed the same line since even Trump initiated Warp Speed.

You literally claimed that more people died of COVID than that of the Spanish Flu. Yes, the reality is more people have died of COVID, yet the projection that COVID is then vastly worse than that of the Spanish Flu is 100% inaccurate. As a percentage of population, there was a .66% mortality rate from the Spanish Flu, yet a .24% as a percentage of population of COVID.

And please show me where I ever made such a claim that we should forget about 800,000 deaths? Literal definition of projection there and asinine! I've never made any such claim and have literally advocated for more data. I've also stated that the vast majority of COVID deaths were a product of vast comorbities and highlighted that 36% of our population are obese. That is a problem, not just for COVID, but in general. Break through cases are becoming more and more common and the death rates are continuing to rise regardless of our greater vaccination rate.

There are several therapeutic treatments that literally can save lives, but because of the narrative & political tribalism, they are not being discusses and are actually killing people that should be getting access to these treatments! The president literally tried to punish a state by limiting the supply of monoclonal antibodies because of their stance on the mandates, yet, they have one of the lowest infections rates currently. If you can't see the narrative being pushed, then yes, absolutely absurd on you!

Getting the Novavax vaccination emergency use authorization would be a massive step into getting those skeptical of genetic engineering, eased by a traditional vaccination.

It is true. While he was creating the policies that made the vaccine possible Biden and Harris were shedding doubt about it on the campaign trail. He was most definitely ahead of the game on the vaccine compared to them.

the vaccine was in trials before Trump even enacted warp speed

people said they would trust the experts, not Trump

how many false claims about covid and such had Trump made prior to that?

In other words, people can make up their own minds? Yup. I am vaccinated but it was not because of anyone’s beliefs other than my own.

If you’re suggesting that many people who chose not to get vaccinated are Trump supporters you’re right. He has even acknowledged that many people who are not vaccinated voted for him. Not sure why that matters. We are talking about who supported the vaccine first. Trump or the two in now. It was most definitely Trump
