Twitter hashtag calls white people mayo monkeys. Calls for genocide

    A conversation trending around the hashtag “#mayomonkeysgottago” caught steam on Twitter Monday night.

    Disturbing statements made throughout the conversation include one person blatantly calling for a "white genocide" and wishing “for the total erasure of the white race.”

    “I am for the white genocide, I am for the total erasure of the white race,” someone can be heard saying in an audio recording of a Twitter “Spaces” conversation. Spaces is a feature on Twitter where users can talk to each other live and tweet at the same time.

    “You don’t have to chop this up, yes, I am for all of you white b—chs dying like flies,” the user can be heard continuing his tirade. “I am for it. I am for it, I support it. I am for putting all you white possums in a gas chamber and letting that m—f—er rain b—ch. I am for it, so you don’t have to chop sh—t up, I’m for it and I’m going to stand ten toes down behind it.”

    What was it Michelle Obama said? When they go low, we go high?

    LoL....boy were you wrong. Not gone. Not a violation of twitter standards. In the progressive worldview, hate speech against white people is impossible. Racist terrorist attacks on white people are impossible. Black nationalism is good.

    I’m a firm believer that if we get too many POC in government things like this may actually happen. When I was on Twitter I used to search “I hate white people”. You would be amazed at all the racists Twitter allows to be on there platform so long as they’re not white.

    This is the sort of thing that ought to be fought openly in the free marketplace of ideas. At a minimum, we should all be allowed to understand how prevalent (or not) such things actually are in the minds of our fellow citizens, and more importantly, have an opportunity to correct them with reasoned debate (or even outright mockery which certainly has its place). Unfortunately we more and more only allow extremism to exist within its own insulated echo chambers where it is impossible to extinguish.

    As far as I have gathered, the offensive content no longer exists on Twitter and was taken.care of on Tuesday.

    And, I really liked this part of the story:

    The conversation was unearthed by a Twitter account that goes by the name “Libs of Tik Tok,” which scours the internet criticizing outlandish comments, typically from left-wing accounts.

    ^"Unearthed" by a group who only exists to "scour the internet" for "Lookie here! Libs Bad!" Faux Outrage material.

    That is hilarious.

    So you are upset that random people online said something you don’t like and it was almost immediately taken down by Twitter and those users then banned…

    Listening to the right wing parroted narrative I thought only far right extremists were targeted by Twitter.

    Thanks for completely demolishing that talking point, there is hope after all!

    Racism in America is a nonissue.

    However, what little racism exists is overwhelmingly towards white people.

    Unfortunately its also not just shunned, its encouraged by every level of our society.

    If you are white, I suggest you work hard and succeed in life despite this blatant racism society has towards you. Overcome it, and that will serve as the biggest F U to all the racists who want to see you fail.
