So far no credible source has challenged the authenticity of the recording. I suppose if I were advising Kyle I'd tell him to take a shot at a defamation suit cuz he may need the money to pay for the impending civil suit. Then again he can always rely on a Proud Boys fundraiser.

I think that many people at the scene considered him an active shooter and several were compelled to disarm him before he killed anyone else.

 

If Rittenhouse does file a defamation case, I am certain that he will be asked if that is him on the tape, who was with him, who he was referring to when he said he would start firing at them if he had his AR. We should already have the answers to these questions but the judge saw to it that this obviously relevant tape was buried in the criminal trial.

 

The recording was not relevant during the criminal trial. It may be admissible during defamation litigation, but IMO, nothing reported so far about the recording will help defendants in a defamation lawsuit.

The biased judge ruled it inadmissible. That doesn't mean it wasn't relevant.

As far as the people who were chasing him knew, he had just killed someone and was fleeing the scene. Turns out they were right. Then when they tried to disarm him, he killed another guy.
