Another day, another mass school shooting

Please don't criticize me for something I didn't say. My comment was about the use of the English language.

 

The ONLY function of a gun is to kill. So anybody who REALLY doesn't want people killed, wants those devices controlled or eliminated.

 

A gun has no other function but to kill.

 

Crime without guns means less loss of life.

In any case... we do have a gun epidemic. I don't know that we have more crime than other developed nations. But we most certainly have more people shot

 

A more important function is to protect, self defense, and that doesn’t require killing. Hundreds of thousands of violent crimes are prevented every year by Americans armed with guns, often just by showing they’re armed.

 

That would be easy for you to demonstrate... SHOW that we have more crime than other developed nations. Because we most definitely have more people shot!

If you can't demonstrate that, then it means we have a gun epidemic.

 

There is only one use for guns: to kill people. Door stoppers might be a distant second... But I doubt that any seller markets them that way.

 

So you actually believe that the parents are being charged because they went up to the kid and convinced him to kill 4 people.

Another one? There are NO MORE mental health issues in this country than there are in any other developed country. No more violence, no more crime, no more... anything that you can use as excuse, then there is in other developed nations that have waaaay less gun violence. The only thing we have more of is ... GUNS! And lax gun laws....

Guns are DESIGNED to perform no other function but to kill the person at the other end of the barrel. They can also be used as an instrument for terrorism.

 

Last year there were 3,142 victims of distracted driving. And we still refuse to admit that we have a distracted driver epidemic.

They are being charged because they didn't keep it out of the hands of their homicidal nut son. That isn't the duty if the retailer or the manufacturer. Who likely didn't know about their son.

Well not exactly for every round shot at a human hundreds are shot at paper targets bowling pins metal plates and almost any non flesh and blood object you can think of.

 

We have plenty of gun laws. Now all we have to do is get Democrats to enforce the ones we have. Unfortunately Democrat DA's seem to believe enforcing the law is racist.

 

They're being charged because they are supposed to be responsible for their child's actions, even when they are on their own. How do you apply that to a gun manufacturer? They're responsible for a guns actions? What actions do guns take on their own?

Self defense is often violent. I have no problem with rapists and muggers getting shot to death.

 

Is enough to make a Father smile. My own daughters received their rifles years ago.

 

That borders on insanity for children that young. A 22 is not likely to kill someone, but it is possible. Certainly, they could be seriously injured.

 

Except that a gun in the home make a woman more vulnerable - especially since the vast majority of rapists are someone she knows

 

It's kind of cute that you expect these children are as ignorant as you are about gun safety. They probably recite the 4 rules of gun safety more eloquently than a lot of adults.

 

Take a weapon retention class. Don't tell everybody where you keep your gun. Seems like common sense to me.
