How many of them can you cite advocating for cruel and unusual punishment and/or indefinite detention?

...or are you just assuming that because they're on a different political 'team' then you, they must be evil?

Being locked up in "county" is an experience that 5 million Americans share annually. I have zero sympathy for the inbred, brain-damaged, seditious members of the Jabba the Trunt Stormer Mob who are just now figuring out that it sucks like a Hoover.

I do applaud, however, your newfound concern for those in pre-trial detention... :applause:

Pre-trial detention without bail for nearly a year now... and as yet no insurrection charges.

Noted that you failed to provide any substantiation for your assertion that the accused support cruel and unusual punishment and indefinite detention for others... so how do you justify your position that they deserve it themselves?

That is not at all uncommon, even for misdemeanor charges. BUT:

So what exactly were you refering to when you said "They're going through what they've been cheerleading for decades - as long as it was happening to "The Other." " if not the cruel and unusual punishment referenced in the post you were replying to? Are you backpeddling now that you can't provide any substantiation for your claim that the accused 'cheerleadered' for it?

what say i of the 1/6 heros? trump should have uber eats deliver mcdonalds with hacksaws fried into the buns to their cells.

should these terribly mistreated political prisoners be offered the opportunity to change places with the guests of putin, xi, or kim? probably no takers.

Clearly 'its your opinion' that the accused support cruel and unusual punishment, since there isn't any evidence for it whatsoever.

Its my opinion, therefore, that yours is based on politically biased and inaccurate stereotyping and is also extremely hypocritical (unless you happen to support cruel and unusual punishment...).

cruel and unusual "punishment" is unconstitutional. the waterboarding and "stress positions" endured by our guests at guantanamo bay are not "punishment." they must be "interrogation techniques."

can i cite any of these citizens advocating this kind of sick stuff? probably not. but there is one voice that speaks for them, speaks "truth to power," says "what we all really feel ..."

"Don't tell me it doesn't work. Torture works. Okay, folks?"

By that metric everyone who voted for Obama supported torture via rendition- sending prisoners to be held on foreign soil where torture was legal and a lot worse than waterboarding.

This 'the other team deserves it' narrative doesnt hold any water, and isn't much of a credit to the people pushing it either- kinda just sounds like some people just like watching the govt punish their political opposition, given that many of those being 'tortured' (your equation, not mine) are only guilty of demonstrating in the wrong place.
