I've gotten 2 of the damn vax shots. I agree. If someone wants to smoke knowing full well it will give them a cancer down the road. Have at it. If someone wants to face COVID without the vaccines. Have at it.

It's your *******n freedom to be able to make that choice.

In both cases, crying like a bitch when it bites one in the ass just confirms the stupidity.

The post I responded to was about heart disease being contagious. It was not a post by you. I was educating the uneducated on how heart disease does have communicable causes. If you do not want your partisan driven science denying criticisms of others commented on by someone who actually has knowledge of the subject, I suggest using the PM function for your discussions. Or, since this is an open forum you could just address my posts directly (what I actually post) not strawman arguments created by you. Either way would result in a better look for you.

Here is the post I initially responded to. Do you see anything I’m there about diet or standing by fat people? LOL

Alas, knowledge elites are constantly exposing truths antithetical to ideological dogma.

In a Gallup poll, only 45% of Republicans expressed confidence in science, down from 72% in 1975. The corresponding figures among Democrats and independents were 79% and 65%. Republicans are far more apt to be in denial of climate change as well.

POLITICS ISN'T THE WEIRD WORSHIP OF ONE DUDE.

Latter day Typhoid Marys whine about "personal freedom" and insist they have the right to spread disease among the populace. These are the same shrill goobers who are hellbent on depriving women of control of their wombs and compelling them to surrender it to the State.

Get vaccinated, wear a mask in public, cover your naughty bits in public, and drive on the right side of the road, even if the government tells you it is in the public interest to do so.

The left certainly like medical fascism. Someone thinks the vaccinated can’t spread Covid.

Do you see anything in the “context” about standing next to fat people? No? Me either. Again you all demonstrate your lack of knowledge. Diet often affects heart disease in the absence of obesity.

These threads created by people completely ignorant of science to mock people about being ignorant of science crack me up. Keep up the good work of demonstrating my point that the mockers are as or more ignorant of science than those they mock. :)

And yet you personally have the power to prevent such spread and keep yourself safe by simply accepting responsability for your own safety and wear one of these.

    upload_2021-12-6_7-56-29.png

But alas...you won't. (probably something about personal freedom and choice or risk/reward) Instead you demand everyone else inject themselves with stuff they don't want.

Placing one's blind trust in failed casino operators and media entertainers in matters of public health rather than in public health experts, epidemiologists, and virologists indicates these wayward wankers probably call a plumber for their hemorrhoidal distress.

    They're out there.

I express my concern for the well-being of my fellow Americans by getting vaccinated and wearing a mask in public because I respect medical science.

It is no more of an imposition on freedom than observing traffic signals when driving rather than surrendering to my personal whims.

If you actually believe vaccinated individuals cannot contract and/or spread Covid or that public health authorities ever made such foolish claims you are being been duped by crackpots.

No vaccine is 100% effective against any disease. Covid vaccination greatly reduces the occurrence of serious cases and death - as is confirmed by the data.

COVID-19 Cases and Deaths by Vaccination Status

    1. From September 4 through October 1, 2021:
    • Unvaccinated people were 13 times more likely to become infected with COVID-19 than fully vaccinated people.
    • Unvaccinated people were 20 times more likely to experience COVID-19-associated death than fully vaccinated people.

Well if you actually did then you'd be wearing the mask I posted as it was designed for people with immune deficiencies and does a better job of protection you and those around. But you elect to NOT wear this mask. (which was designed by medical science btw).

It's not like "well I got the vaccine so I won't spread the virus as much" It's more like "There is no way I can spread the virus because I've contained myself in a bubble" kind of thing.

Irresponsible permissiveness that endangers others under the guise of "freedom" is unAmerican.

Anti-intellectualism festers, often as a pretext to substitute ideological dogma for empirical data.

I follow the knowledge-based recommendations of our public health resources.

If you wish to wear the mask you prescribe, you should be free to do so, of course.

If you think heart disease it totally avoidable I understand all the confusion you have about other issues as well. Why do you think doctors ask if your parents have heart disease and/or cancers? Just making conversation maybe?

If there was a vaccine to lose all excess fat and cholesterol, people would kill to get it.

I concur with public health experts in order to reduce the likelihood of my incurring and/or spreading a deadly disease.

Even the most self-obsessed who extol irresponsible permissiveness eventually acknowledge reality:

    From September 4 through October 1, 2021:
    • Unvaccinated people were 13 times more likely to become infected with COVID-19 than fully vaccinated people.
    • Unvaccinated people were 20 times more likely to experience COVID-19-associated death than fully vaccinated people.

Nice ad hominem. I’m sorry you are opposed to science, logic and facts. You are an otherwise intelligent person. Many are opposed to science as you are. As I said, I thank you all for demonstrating this to be true with your continued denial of science.

cop out. We both know that encasing yourself in a gd bubble is absolute. And I would dare anyone scientific to argue against that fact. So grats! You are doing everything possible to avoid the fact that you are not doing everything possible.

    :)

Every single thing beyond diabetes is avoidable. (unless we are talking about type 2 diabetes in which case...that was avoidable as well...lol) Are you doing ALL you can to prevent heart disease? No? K.

    Thanks for playing.

So, you argue that family history is avoidable. All righty then.

    Thanks for playing indeed.

Well damn! I guess that's it then. No need in doing ALL you can to try and lower the rate of heart disease. Right? Simple and easy to follow dietary choices while maintaining a degree of healthy exercise is available to everyone. But why bother right?

    ;)

    Your words, not mine.

You also said that family history is avoidable, so ........thanks for playing.
