I doubt they changed rules based on emotion. I bet they used studies to make their decision. Weighed the pros and cons. They don't make these decisions lightly.

XX vs XY is not an opinion. The sh** you are shoveling is raw, stupid emotion. And it is not correct.

    What are XXY chromosomes?
Posted on Updated September 13, 2021 by XXY Guy

A chromosome is a strand of DNA. XXY chromosomes are a naturally occurring human male variation. XXY men are identical in physical appearance and mental capacity to XY men.

    General Discussion
    Summary

XYY syndrome is a rare chromosomal disorder that affects males. It is caused by the presence of an extra Y chromosome. Males normally have one X and one Y chromosome. However, individuals with this syndrome have one X and two Y chromosomes.
    https://rarediseases.org/rare-diseases/xyy-syndrome/

    ...
    Overview
Triple X syndrome, also called trisomy X or 47,XXX, is a genetic disorder that affects about 1 in 1,000 females. Females normally have two X chromosomes in all cells — one X chromosome from each parent. In triple X syndrome, a female has three X chromosomes.

Many girls and women with triple X syndrome don't experience symptoms or have only mild symptoms. In others, symptoms may be more apparent — possibly including developmental delays and learning disabilities. Seizures and kidney abnormalities occur in a small number of girls and women with triple X syndrome.
    https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/triple-x-syndrome/symptoms-causes/syc-20350977

No one said xx or xy is an opinion. But those are not the only combinations found in humans.

Great! You just made an argument for trans to be eligible for the special olympics.
Look, I'm not sure if you are being contrarian or are simply stubborn, but the performance advantage a male has over females in the OP is as obvious as the nose on your face.
There are effeminate males and masculine females - this fact does not make one the other. Certainly not with respect to sports.

My only point during all of this, is the sports organizations make their rules. They make them based on studies.
There was no cheating based on the rules.
I am not being stubborn, just stating the facts as they are today. They may change tomorrow, but today it was all within the rules.

There's women who have very high testosterone levels naturally and they also have an unfair advantage over average females. This issue has been going on probably since women's sports were founded.
But to claim there was cheating is flat out wrong. Cheating involves breaking rules.

How's it a disorder? It's an advantage in the competition of sports.

Well...my take is the women (not the girls competing) brought this onto themselves. They kept hollering equality and there is no such thing. Then they wanted to compete in mens sports. Then you want always say discrimination and it's actually discrimination if you don't let a transexual compete against who they want to identify with. it is. So it's unfortunate for the young girls but this is the consequence for the women...grandma's and moms. who wanted everything their way. And they sacrificed their daughters and grandaughters.

You have no clue how they make their (NCAA) rules - unless you happen to be on the committee. Further no one has accused him of cheating. The point is that naturally born males have a distinct advantage in sporting. The OP reveals it in vivid clarity. Men should not be allowed to compete against women. TBH I'm not even sure how the "trans" females have the gall to even accept a medal. It's flat out wrong.

    Neither do you.
But I am quite sure it's not based on emotions as others were trying to claim.

The **** you've been shoveling is raw pure emotion.

I never claimed to know - YOU did.

Probably not, but my guess it IS based largely on politics. And that's wrong for our female athletes.

The OP clearly shows that the male has unfair advantages. Pointing it out and opining that he should not be allowed to compete is not emotion. It's simple observation and common sense.

Never claimed to know. I only said it's not likely emotion or politics. They review studies on the topic.

Not according to the rules and the rules committee. I doubt politics had little to do with it. It's a sports organization.

I am adamantly against T women competing in women's sports.

Entrance in sports competitions should conform to biological sex, not gender identity.

Should the T groups ever get large enough, then they should be a separate category T women/ T men

I might make an exception, similar to how they handicap horses, that if they can evaluate the strength of, say, 5 top female athletes, compare that against the T woman in question, if 'her' strength stamina and coordination, isn't abnormal for women, I might be okay with her competing in women's sports, but, I don't know the science answer to this, to be honest. In horse racing, they weigh the jockeys, and put weights in the saddles of those who way less than the heaviest one ( is this right? ) .

Overall, I'm inclined to go with the first premise I listed.

I guess to me it really feels and sounds strange because when I know the person I'm speaking to/of/about, I would use he or she. If for example, "Trisha" went to the store, I would say she went to the store. I would say "they" went to the store if I were referring to more than one person going to the store. As per your examples, "I wonder who lost their cellphone", I would use "their" because I don't know the person and no one says "his or her" in casual conversation. As for "I hope they like their gift", I would be referring to multiple people, otherwise I would say "I hope he likes his gift", or "I hope she likes her gift".

That’s fair but it’s just another addition to the grammar rules. You don’t know the gender of a person, use they. If they don’t identify as either male or female, use they too.

It looks like this could be the beginning of the end for men in women’s sports if enough people speak up and then refuse to officiate it, refuse to coach it or refuse to participate in it.

USA Swimming official quits over transgender swimmer Lia Thomas: ‘I can’t support this’

“I told my fellow officials that I can no longer participate in a sport that allows biological men to compete against women,” Millen’s letter continued. “Everything fair about swimming is being destroyed.”

Female Swimmers should boycott any meet in which Thomas appears.

    Then, just cancel the meet.
    Problem solved.
