You only care about rhetoric and slime and any way to blast the opposition through lies and misinformation. What this says is all the BS Biden and Democrats spewed in 2020 about how it’s all Trumps fault. They can all go kick sand. Biden just admitted what we already knew. No one was stopping the virus. All the federal govt can do is arrange mass production of supplies and have them distributed. That’s what they’re generally “good” at.

Seems there is some truth in that. Informants for sure. Long time practice. Easiest way to keep tabs is having moles. The problems arise when the informants are the ones trying to organize the chaos to see who goes along with it. But when the chaos gets out of hand, if the informants are the one getting people all riled up, that **** is on the FBI for letting it happen. Almost causing it to happen. It’s entrapment. And then when the chaos is blamed on others, that’s where the corruption sets in.

Just look what we did with Fast and Furious. Nobody fried for that one.

 

For someone so concerned with rhetoric, did it ever dawn on you that all of those examples are examples of rhetorical tools and tricks? That he can say one thing and mean another? For example, why bring up MS13 members when they're only a tiny fraction of the problem, and mentioning them might encourage racism against Mexicans? If what you accuse me of is true, how do you know the context of what Trump said didn't end up making backhanded comments?

I think it is a mistake to characterize Trump's style as anything but blunt and straightforward. Searching for subtlety and double meanings will always be a Snipe hunt.

For instance, there were good reasons for removing the CSA monuments and good reasons for preserving them.
A conservative or a liberal could easily frame arguments for either action.

 

What are the good reasons for removing them? As far as I can tell, a few people screamed racism and, down they came.

1. The CSA leaders were treasonous rebels and should not be honored.

 

It took people until now, to come to that conclusion?

No correlation at all, to the current administration and, all the hatred and division they've created?

 

The current administration and its fellow travelers would like to cast its opposition as supporters of the CSA. IOW traitors and racists.

I would say that's the problem and that's the whole argument against the way Trump speaks. He's ambiguous because he knows he can play people without getting his hands dirty.

Let me clarify. It's not straight forward so much as ambiguously blunt. Saying something controversial because he knows it will be received differently in different communities and he gets plausible deniability in what his true intentions are.
