Don't worry, the real citizens will all over the place if the federal acts aren't passed... assuming they ever get out of the line to vote...

You DO know the federal acts are mostly in RESPONSE to silly state laws passed since the previous election?

Also partly in response to some REALLY shitty recent SCOTUS rulings....

Her comment was that she backed the Republican effort against voting rights in general.

She stated that Democrats wouldn't like it.

She's been a reasonably straight shooter, so I'm accepting that at least until further info!

That information is available all over the place.

Your tactic of pretending that some news outlet isn't valid is just more proof that you don't read and don't really care about the topic, either.

    He isn't lucid now.

Dems will use him as a marionette puppet as long as he's got a heartbeat, and maybe after.

It’s called sarcasm. I think it went over your head. Nice accusation I do not read. Shall I post a pic of my nightstand, with the current books on top I am reading?

care to expand on why MSM news outlets tend to leave certain stories untouched?

Thomas Friedman has proven his chops over and over again. He has respect across the board from those who are actually interested in serious thought.

However, I don't know how he can propose someone who is a proponent of the Republican assault on our democracy, as she has stated.

Plus I do doubt she can make progress with Republicans.

John McCain could. Cheney?? I have not seen it.

Some reporter needs to ask Kamala if she'd support a Biden/Cheney ticket.

It shows you how close neocons are.

There is NO news outlet that carries all the news stories written.

And, the whole BS about "msm" is just plain stupid.

It's the game of "shoot the messenger" played by the totally lazy and unread.

If you read, you really shouldn't associate with that kind of crap.

    IF Biden Runs Again:
Harris (barring anything unforeseeable) would (almost) CERTANLY be on the Ticket.
    1) Dumping her for anyone else, would be an incredibly risky strategy that could backfire.
    2) Biden could NOT risk alienating the key voting bloc of Black Women (who identify with Harris) and their "backlash" could serve to backfire on Biden (if they decided to "sit it out").
    3) A completely wacky idea, with ZERO Chance of actually happening.

However, IF Biden were to dump Harris for a Woman of the Caucasian Persuasion...
My Top 3 (in order) would be:
    Lady Gaga
    Katy Perry
    Taylor Swift

It's gutter journalism. I was reading the other day that their business model has changed to a paperless subscription service that is actively courting millennials and other soy people.

That means it's only going to get worse.

No, it’s not stupid. I read left, center and right. The narrative varies and I find that the left leaning MSM either ignores, distorts, or completely lies in its reporting. Please see CNN, MSNBC and the Washington Post for details.

The right leaning sources do it as well, but nowhere near on the level and quantity of left leaning sites.

You seem to miss threads and posts where center and right leaning sources are attacked in here regularly by our far left leaning posters.

Feel free to chime in and slap them with a wet noodle.

Are you familiar with the term “facetious”? ‘Cause it looks like you are not.

    Yeah?
    And, so what?:bored:
What does anything that you posted have to do with the OP Topic of Liz Cheney?
Freidman is a top-notch journalist, with an excellent reputation, who has won 3 Pulitzers.
Although, in this case, his idea about Liz Cheney is rather far-fetched.

Are you pretending to be ignorant of the number of laws, pondered, proposed and passed that actively make the task of voting more arduous? Seems like you are.

I'm glad she's on the Jan 6 committee. But, isn't that just splitting her farther away from the majority of the RNC?

And, she's still made strong statements concerning backing the RNC assault on our democracy.

I'm not so sure she can deliver enough to warrant withstanding those policies she brings with her.

Because the person I replied to was painting the Times as the pinnacle of journalism.

    See how that works?

    LOL!!!

And nothing screams "actually interested in serious thought" quite like Biden-Cheney 2024.

Obviously, Tommy didn't get the memo:

Pompeo - Paul: That would be an amazing ticket. Smart leadership that has proven to be above the rest.

Seems like a pretty tacit admission that the differences between Dems and Reps (Center Right and Far Right) aren't that great.
