I think the split up of the country is becoming a real possibility. The south wants to protect the borders and control immigration, something that the federal government seem to ignore. The left is intolerable of any divergent point of view and literally demonize everyone who is not in line (see Manchin/Sinema).
This intolerance to dissent, and the failure of the federal government to enforce its own laws, or selectively enforcing them, might eventually result in a full blown split.

    This!^^^

Trump won't need another mass riot. The R ( Trump Rs) state houses are setting the stage to overrule the vote, minimize the vote by disqualify many votes. This could work very well but is not representative and annuls hundreds of thousands of votes making actual voting moot.

In bold, that's exactly how it happened.

So the vote comes in for Biden and you think local precincts will just change the numbers in the computer or ignore them? That sounds like something Trump would say.

Do you have any idea how hard it is to do that?

How about this idea - why not reach out to them and come up with some form of understanding. That starts when you stop calling opposition “mini Trumps”. If these “mini Trumps” have solid support, then how can you ignore them? Or are you being a hypocrite?

If Trump 'loyalists' are in those positions to change, overrule or ignore the votes and actual vote count? I would not want to put that to the test. There are many current examples of elected Republicans and poll workers, etc. being accused (without any proof), being pressured from top and bottom to change vote counts and by intimidation from Trump 'loyalists'.
BTW, I would not want Biden "loyalists' doing the same either.

"Nonsense....that not US.... nobody takes them seriously....they're a bunch of crazies..."

Meanwhile the Chief Fearless Leader and Total Fracking GOD of ALL the Crazies is the one making the speech that made all the nutbars go bonkers. You know him, the one the RNC made a little golden statue of just to show they're NOT a totally subservient bunch of completely castrated coc.....uh...political consultants.

Did you know that the Republican Party is now the 1st American Party that doesn't have a stated platform? Go ahead. Go look it up. They don't have one. Their platform is now whatever Donald Trump says it is.

Actually, we are at GREAT risk of losing our democracy. Democrats tried every trick in the book to overturn the Trump 2016 election, including putting forth a false narrative, planted by them, about Russian collusion. When they got control of the House in 2018 they abused their power in investigations and impeachments, all to overthrow a legitimately elected president. Then after Biden won and they got control of the Senate, they took Americans rights away, claiming that it was for the greater public good. Then, if they could get past Manchin and Sinema, they would get rid of the filibuster, make election fraud easier, add blue states on to the union to consolidate more power, and add seats to the Supreme Court to consolidate even more power. At this very moment they have an active campaign to take Trump out of the picture so that voters can't vote him back in because they want to bypass the will of the voters. They are also rounding up and jailing everyone who disagrees with them and taking first amendment rights away wherever possible. They also have close ties with social media to ban anyone who thinks differently and has different opinions, labeling all differing opinions misinformation.

You’ve got note there’s some weird s*** going on. What would possess the Republican Party in at least five states to forge and file an election document with an alternate slate of electors?

Legal? No. Party representatives that should know better signing off on this. Yes. WTF were they thinking in acting so recklessly?

Democracy requires an honest ballot, and I think in 2022 and 2024 we will much more trustworthy elections than the COVID tainted election, and, I think the Electorate will move more sensible folks into position as representatives.

This what we are moving away from, Rage Politics: The "Myth Of Bipartisanship": Kyrsten Sinema Becomes The Latest Victim Of Rage Politics

"The reaction to her floor speech reveals the depth of the addiction to rage in our body politic..."

    Jonathan Turley,
"In Shakespeare’s “Othello,” the character Iago famously declared that “men in rage strike those that wish them best.” It was a warning that Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-Ariz.) now understands all too well. Both Sinema and Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) have refused to be bullied into changing the filibuster rule — a rule that forces the parties into dialogue and compromise."

These folks aren't fans of compromise.
A truly sickening display by the Left Wing common-tators.
Let's keep the reference point, and move some more sensible folks into office.

America can’t be so divided and expect anything other than a negative outcome. Our democracy will one day fail as it is subject to the immense imperfections of human nature. I can envision many scenarios. Which will happen if any I cannot say.
