Looks like Hawaii is trying to encourage a better class of visitor.

Exactly, just perhaps the people in Hawaii are playing the long game here.
Maybe, just maybe, they do not want a bunch of "loud and proud" MAGA hat wearing anti vaxx morons insulting their non white tourists from places like Asia and Australia.
    Just saying.

With respect to interstate commerce States cannot make their own rules per the Commerce Clause of the Constitution with the Supreme Court seemingly applies to anything and everything. Is tourism interstate commerce? Well the term applies to traffic that goes from one State to another so my guess is that it does.

I think the term for what they don't want is Haoles.

1: Think you missed the part where I said that I'm vaccinated.

2: Seems that all that you have to play is the race card. Typical. You have no argument.

Better class? Sounds to me like that's a rather bigoted statement.

Except Hawaii is not international. Its a part of the US. When was the last time you showed your papers to travel to another state in the Union?

Never... good point.... his question didn't differentiate what type of travel, so neither did I.

But I'd happily do so in Hawaii now to get out on the beach sooner... anybody would....

You'd happily do so...now. How much longer? And for what else?

Yes, I have noticed that the simpler a mind the simpler the "jokes".
Wish you all the best also.

Well I'm never going to Hawaii again. San Diego is basically the same thing with less pomp.

Leftist confidence despite a thousand covid eggs in their collective face ceases to amaze me. How many times do you have to be wrong until you concede?

Ah... Yes... Democrats are great and "encourage" a better class of visitor. Just ask Jim Crow.

Long Game to bankruptcy maybe. According to travel data U.S. visitors to Hawaii number nearly double all international visitors put together.

Sure let’s see how long they hold the value of “not having trumpers there” over the value of money and food.

I assure you that values will come in second place eventually.

    Fine!
In the meantime, the anti vax Trumpers can vacation in highbrow places such as Las Vegas and the redneck riviera.
They fit in there better anyway.
That will only improve the quality of life for the residents and tourists everywhere else.

That’s cool the keys and the outer banks of nc are nicer anyway and doesn’t have nearly as many elite leftists sucking up all the oxygen around them. And we ain’t even gotta wear masks because the people there aren’t morons who tell you to wear a mask or you can’t go into a restaurant where there are LITERALLY 100 people sitting down eating without wearing masks.

I swear to god going to a restaurant in a leftist city where they tell you that you can’t enter without a mask and there are 50 people inside eating without masks on is like living in bizzaro-retard world

OUCH: Americans Tell U.S. ‘Health Experts’ Where They Can Shove Their Booster Shots.

Tried to get some lab work done the other day, the girl drawing blood was also manning the front desk and no one would answer the phone. Normally there are five people working in there. She said that everyone quit because of the COVID shot requirements and have gone into other industries. They are young healthy people in childbearing age with an up close view of the side effects, and they gave up their jobs rather than get more booster shots.

'Our so-called “health experts” have clearly lost the faith of the American people because, despite their endless pushing of COVID-19 vaccines and regular boosters, few Americans who are eligible to receive the updated COVID booster shot have actually gotten it.'

'The pandemic shed light on some unsightly facts about the government officials in charge of our response to health crises. They are not only inept but also susceptible to political pressure in the same way that politicians are. As such, Americans are neither concerned about the latest variant nor convinced the booster would do anything about it, as evidenced by the fact that only 1.5% of eligible U.S. citizens have gotten the new and improved COVID booster, according to the CDC’s own data.'

A doctor shared with me that he was shoved out of his practice for sharing information that while drawn from the CDC website, was counter to the received narrative. He felt that he had a duty to accurate share ALL the information so that his patients could make an informed consent.
